In this video, we take you on an exciting flight mission in a F/A-18C Hornet, where we safely escort a Turkish Airlines A320 out of Syrian airspace during an amazing sunrise. We begin by showing you the startup process of the F/A-18C on the tarmac and prepare for the mission ahead.
As we take off, we head towards the designated location where the A320 was reported to have entered the airspace without permission. Once we locate the A320, we safely escort the aircraft out of Syrian airspace while following all the necessary safety protocols.
Throughout the video, you will experience stunning views of the Syrian landscape and an awe-inspiring sunrise in the background. After the safe escort is completed, we land back at our base, completing the mission.

Love the videos, a few months back I got into DCS a bit more since I had been watching videos for the last 2+ years but never tried it and I love this type of mission. Doesn't have to be dogfighting to be entertaining, well done.

Enjoyed watching this, just so you know, the flashing orange donut is because you have HOOK BYPASS in Carrier position, rather than FIELD. (Switch on the left below landing/taxi lights. Makes no difference as far as I know but, there you go..

I have to ask. Been watching so many videos. 😆 How do you do the focus blur is it in game or postprocess? And what are your numbers in trackir to get it that smooth looking around? Great videos dude.

I‘m glad that you enjoy my videos! There is a setting in DCS called depth of field. I only use it when I record external shots though since it requires a lot more performance than normally. For me personally, I don‘t find a difference between the „normal“ and „bokeh“. To get your TrackIR settings as smooth as possible, it doesn’t really matter what your settings in the graph are, but rather that the smoothness slider is all the way to the max. Enjoy!

You can look up the CAM (Civil Aircraft Mod) for DCS. There is also a military variant which adds more detailed and new aircraft to the DCS World experience, called MAM (Military Aircraft Mod).

you arent supposed to flare the hornet. touch down straight onto the runway at ~750fpm. if you flare it, you may not get enough pressure on the landing gear which will inturn make the jet think its still airborne and you will lose your NWS function

I use the standalone, open beta version of the game, it brings many advantages and almost no disadvantages compared to the normal version.

You can look up some tutorials on how to activate the hud view in DCS, but besides that I used a lot of video and sound editing to make it look (more or less) realistic. 👍

You can download the CAM (Civil Aircraft Mod) for DCS and escort airliners in your own missions. This mission isn‘t very complicated to set up, just set up a trigger activated airliner.

@@thelespauldude3283Doesn't DCS still turn on DLAA when DLSS is on? The ghosting is horrible when that happens. Don't know how you could do VR with that.

A flare is a type of countermeasure used to distract heat seeking missiles by creating a large amounts of hot spots to trick the missile. But in this case it is used as an intimidation/warning tactic. Hope this helped!
