This is my favourite of all the tools on KZfaq. The young lady filmed the most is so captivating with her energy & facial expressions, it's a joy to watch her!

Taikos not tools (autocorrect, or should that be incorrect?!)
Veo el video y no me canso de seguir viendo, me gustaría saber quien es la señorita que dirige la energía grupal y si continua participando hoy en día (saludos desde Perú)
Their immersion in the intensity, beauty, grace, and joy of the music is wonderful

look how focus and passionate they are... putting their heart in to it... u can just tell.... it one of the best i seen!!! the drummer in the center she was going crazy ..... you can tell at the end she was about to cry but she held back the tears.. amazing ....
I am absolutely astounded by this performance, I've not seen drumming of this calibre by people so young, It was more than just drumming it was a ballet between drummer and drum, They were fighting those drums to get the best sound they could squeeze out of them with maximum effort, That Girl in the middle must have been both physically and emotionally drained at the end and her arms must have been acheing like mad, You could see the determination on her face to override any pain and give her best, Everybody in this performance gave their maximum effort 100%, They are all great drummers and I am sure they made their parents very proud, At the end their performance moved me very much by it's intensity and energy and emotion, I wish I could read Japanese so that I knew who they were.
Japan is technologically 200yrs in the future, and yet all the old traditions are still very much alive and being continued by the younger generations- this will never seize to amaze me! Wonderful performance- love them :)

Because all of the Asian countries still have respect with each other. While North America aka USA don't give a flying fuck about each other. The manners for eating in Japan is so fascinating I love it

Seven years and 273 comments later, there's nothing new to add, only paraphrase. This video is nine+ minutes of pure joy, and the girl at the center drum set gave the most intensely focused, determined, performance I have ever seen. About three minutes in she finds the groove, and from there on out she is one with her drums. Check out the look of amazement at the end, when she looks out at the audience going wild. She knew then she'd nailed it. Absolutely magnificent!

All of these kids are amazing but "its the girl in the center, the girl in the center, in the center!!!" She is unbelievable! This was filmed 8 years ago and she is long gone from high school but I hope she is still playing the drums. What a talent! She could raise 500 years of dead samurai with her skill and energy!

The girl playing the central drum is as intense as any drummer I have ever seen, in any genre of music. In Japan, it is pretty normal for girls to become drummers at a very high level...such drummergirls as Kawaguchi Senri, Suzuki Rina, and Morimoto Emi are just a few of Japan's great girl drummers.

Wow! That was a hell of performance!!! This was filmed 7 years ago!! They are all so amazing, but like most of people here, I was blown away with the girl in the center!! If I saw her on the street, I'd never imagine her being a drummer.... plays like that!! She certainly was on FIRE!!! I was tearing up the whole time....thinking back my youth..... highschool days....Young, fearless, carefree....that sums up who I was back then! (^^) I got so emotional watching.....especially her. Her eyes were so intense while she played with soul & body! She played with her all being.....like there is no tomorrow!!! It really touched me....deep inside... Also I got emotional thinking about all their practice....spending gazillions of hours....sweat & tears.... I was really happy to see all their effort & hard work were paid off as everyone felt something incredible watching their TAIKO performance!! I am sure their parents & friends were extremely proud of them! These kids are indeed very special, gifted people. I hope they continued to play TAIKO & also never forget their amazing accomplishment as long as they live! I know this will be my "go to" video when I feel down. It will give me a positive energy & message on whatever I am going through. Thank you for uploading this video!

Wow!!! This is such an amazing performance! Japan's culture is so powerful, mesmerizing, and beautiful! And one of the parts of this culture is music. And one of the parts of this music is the powerful art of wadaiko. In this video, in particular, these students are demonstrating their country's cultural heritage, determined to keep it strong, and beautiful as it always has been, and alive for future generations and cultural enthusiasts, like myself, to see. That beautiful girl in the middle has such high energy. I truly enjoy her passion to play such an amazing variety of traditional instruments. Just by looking at her, she loves her cultural heritage. 😊 Greetings from the United States, Japan! 🇯🇵🇺🇸
