Here in Mizoram 99% of the shops are owned by local people mostly i see woman doing all kinds of business, Out here, you'll hardly find tsumer/non-local shop and the best thing is, its very clean out here, I hope our Naga people will also start up their own like this then maybe there will be changes in employment and economy of our state... This Food Kingdom butcher shop was initially set up in Kohima(Highschool colony- Sect. Road) and was considered one of the fastest growing among many but due to some restrictions from so-called Mati Malik, they couldn't continue their business and were compelled to shift to Dimapur. We cannot even do business freely in our own state capital, What do you think Naga?? If you think I'm trying to defame anyone with lies, ask the owner why he shifted.

I was wondering what happened to the shop. My family and I always preferred buying from their shop. Amiable, no unfair practices and above all, quality meat. It's heart wrecking to hear instances of mati Malik issues in the 21st century when we should be promoting oneness and inclusivity irrespective of who or what one is. But hey, another YAAY! to them for starting this new venture despite the challenges they faced in Kohima. I wish and deeply hope they expand their outlets in the coming years and come back here too.
