This so stupidly good, I don’t think there was a single moment in this MAP that felt awkward or out of place, ya’ll knocked it out of the park with this one

Probably the highest quality Rain World MAP ever released, every animator did such an incredible job

I love 1:56. I'm so used to Rivulet being portrayed as this cute, braindead, hyperactive little thing, but when you think about it, they're quite a majestic creature, especially considering the events of their campaign itself. I might be overreacting, but I feel like this scene does this side of their character some justice.

This has got to be one of the best rainworld maps I’ve seen, all the parts flow together so well, but by far the most impressive part is that all the participants manage to draw and animate echos perfectly

Seeing Arti's pups in Rubicon was a nice easter egg to when the devs said "all slugpups go to hell" but also kinda sad 😭😭. all jokes aside tho this is probably the highest quality MAP I have ever seen for Rain World, and paired with a banger song as well! All the different animation styles flowed together so well and nothing felt out of place. 10/10, I only discovered it a couple hours ago and already rewatched it like 7 times!

Seeing rainwolrd map’s are almost always somewhat makes me feel old for me, i just remember seeing some parts of the map months ago then to just suddenly see it finished

I’m absolutely blown away by this. The part that impressed me the most was actually the void flash effect at 3:53. It was spot-on, exactly like the game, and that can’t have been easy to do.

Wow, this MAP is peak quality through and through, and it all fits together so well! Now for little things I noticed, as it's always great for them to get appreciated! *Spoilers for a lot of things in Downpour,* of course, it is mostly just about what is shown in the animation, but you never know... In the first part for Spearmaster, they are holding both the message pearl and SRS's overseer's eye, really showing just how much Spearmaster cares for SRS. After Artificer loses her pups, it shows Artificer going after a scav, with an environment similar to the nightmares she has in game. There is a quick flash of NSH in the background at 1:13. Before the dropwig gets harpooned by the KV, you can see a faint laser aiming ahead of the dropwig, which it then leaps into. The scene for when Survivor falls down is very similar to one of the images you see when complete Gourmand's food quest. Seems in this timeline, the other two pups (the blue and black) also followed Survivor and Monk, or they got separated from the rest of the colony somehow. Which Survivor must have found on their journey back to OE as Monk sees them with Survivor when they reunite with Survivor. Not a small detail, but I really loved how "out of time" was synced with Rivulet running to Pebbles to escape the impending Downpour. When Rivulet escapes into the tunnel with the rarefraction cell, you can see a glimpse of a DLL (or blue BLL, since those do exist and it seems quite small) feeling around the tunnel before it moves on to another scene. Moon is crying after Saint brings her the music pearl that Pebbles listens to. Saint is ascending the guardians in Rubicon, as seen with the chains breaking at 3:20. "All slugpups go to Hell," in which Artificer's slugpups (at least same colors) are shown to be in Rubicon. When Pebbles forcefully removes Spearmaster's message pearl, a flash of Moon suffering from lack of water appears behind him, which might be indicating that the guilt he feels influenced his irrational anger. Ruffles is perhaps saying their final goodbyes to Moon at 3:46. I'm sure there are other little things I missed, but I tried! Although I may have glossed over just how good the MAP is, it really cannot be said enough just how good it is! I just lack the ability to fully express that...

This MAP is so underrated; it’s one of the best I have ever seen. Everyone did an amazing job evoking so much emotion out of their animations through Rainworld’s story. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work!

THIS IS SO FLIPPIN GOOD, rain world's story is so heart warming and breaking at the same time, it put me in tears watching, you HAVE to know and understand the game and lore to really feel the emotion in this, and i am so glad i can feel what the artists wanted to portray, this was unbelievably well animated for ONLY 7.5K LIKES IN 2 MONTHS? unfair, this deserves so much love and attention, ANIMATION IS HARD! this is QUALITY! the story is soo good Dx words cannot describe how i felt about this, but its ASTOUNDING! i hope to see more of rainworld community rise

This is the best map I've seen on Rain World. no animations made on the knee, no poor drawing, no unnecessary moments. Great respect to the authors of this map

This had me silently Screaming, I was actually shaking a little bit Every single section was gorgeous. Even the more “basic” styles were so stylized and aesthetically appealing, every single clip could stand up with the others as a masterpiece. And sadly, I don’t feel that way about most MAPs I watch. But this one was so perfectly paired together that the changes in style didn’t feel jarring. Every artist brought beauty to this project. It stole my breath away. I cannot praise this video enough. I’m gonna watch it again now :)

This is by far the most beautiful rainworld MAP that I’ve seen. Every artist did so well and this gave me so much motivation to animate. I also love this song too, and the parts in order of the rainworld timeline just made everything feel so complete.

I love the Chinese(?) rainworld community’s art styles definitely want to try and mimic said style because I love it

This is absolutely the best rainworld map I've ever seen, up there with A Turtle's Heart back in the early days of the fandom as one of my all time favorites. Everyone did an absolutely phenomenal job, I love everything about this. The character animation and capturing the personalities of the slugcats, the backgrounds and the detail in them making it feel like the living breathing world the game protrays, the participants did a fantastic job with everything. Absolutely breathtaking project

Something I’d like to mention. I just remembered the definition of a “poltergeist.” it’s basically a ghost, but it can interact with physical objects. If we say that echoes are “ghosts” then Saint would BE a poltergeist. Edit: I would pay actual money to have the sleep saint and echo at the end in a hour loop

3:18 Saint is often portrayed as this goofy lil floofy boi with a gun, but here shows how menacing saint truly is. Saint's a godlike entity, and this really emphasized that. Amazing!

HOLY HECK this is GORGEOUS!! the composition, the flow, the transitions between the parts-- i got chills on literally every drop, and on most of the parts too. genuinely one of the best maps ive EVER seen. kudos to EVERYONE who worked on this part. every single part was gorgeous, truly. gonna find some new animators to follow from this one

First of all, WOW! All of the parts were SO clean and pretty! I can't tell if you just picked the right people or everyone working on it just slaved over their screens for months per part, I love how unique a lot of the artists styles are yet they still blend nicely... sometimes so nicely I don't notice a part change... I will note that 1:42 looks VERY similar to a part from Birds of Paradise MAP (same location, scene, composition, motion, VERY similar timing, lighting) But other than intentionally or accidentally getting inspiration from somewhere else, it is very high quality and nice to look at

Fun fact: when you complete saint's campaign, they become echo, and there are gold things around them. These things are called "chains" in game files, because echoes are forever trapped in this world. Just thought that it's cool :)

Damn, i remember watching the MAP parts some time ago. The finished product is incredible and allthe animators are very talented.

THIS map is amazing though absolutely incredible! I love how each slugcat was given a time to shine and how they were added in the correct chronological time order from SM to Saint, the transitions felt natural and not extremely overwhelming
