I was suffering from depression and anxiety and had given up doing everything that I liked doing, painting, playing guitar being 2 of them. I just wanted my days to get over with. Then I heard für elise playing in my neighbour's house and wanted to learn it. So I searched it and came across this piece. Been practicing for 2 months and 10 days now and I am happy to play the opening section now with correct timing. Two things I learnt: 1. This tutorial is sublime 2. Music really helps one rekindle the will to get up again. Thank you so much for this.

"Music really helps one rekindle the will to get up again" Couldnt have said it better. There's something about indulging in hobbies like guitar & painting that rejuvenate the mind, but one can get tired of them. Put it down for a little bit & when you pick it up, it's like having a friend there waiting for you with open arms.

The most "easy" version on the web for the full piece. The first part is straightforward , then it goes difficult in parts 2 3 and 4. This arrangement semplifies them and finds good balance between execution and sense of the music. Well done, indeed!

I am a metal player too, who is working hard to get better at classical. One of the reasons is that metal can get kind of boring to play by myself and I don’t have time to really get with a band (and I’m kind of a perfectionist, and even when find bands that are like that, they usually require more commitment than I can give). With classical pieces there things that range from straightforward to insanely hard, and almost all of them self contained, meant to be played alone.

Hey, Thanks SO much. I've been self teaching this piece and though I know how to read music a little, most of the time I have to learn the song by ear and dissect it to learn it. This helps a lot. I usually write down my own sheet music because I have a very hard time trying to find something appropriate to my level. I take in a lot by sound. If I know the song by heart I can usually play it after one time of trying it. I can't pay anyone to teach me so videos like these help. I already know the first portion of this song well but I was trying to get that second part down. Again, this helps a lot.

Again not for the music's history but for a chance to stress the important of knowing history of all sorts of things. The impressivness and generally recognizable across all people types... america is doomed if we do not look towards history. By using this lesson (well done lesson) I'll be proving my point and adding to the pieces ongoing history of influencing people's hearts and minds.... If you play guitar and read this I implore you to also take the cause to master this song. And play it as loud, wide and as often as people will listen. Share the wisdom history hold . Please M.A.G.A
