Who have watched this game more than once??? Well I've watched this game five times so far and I really enjoy it. For me. both players Tai Tzu Ying and Chen Yu Fei are great players. @@sudhasharma968 What's your update record ;-) ? Especially with all games suspension/cancellation because of the pandemic, I watched about every 3 days. This is such a good game that both top players did their hardest job to strive. And I can watch it over and over again including previous TTY vs Marin SF game, both were such high quality games.

我是小戴的忠實鐵粉，我猜想陳雨菲平日苦練如何對抗小戴的假動作，加上最近幾場比賽連續贏小戴，很有自信的想要在全英連霸，賴教練應該有意識到這點而要小戴改變策略。 陳雨菲沒想到小戴比賽時減少假動作，增加攻擊性，讓她完全找不到對策，這場比賽真是顛覆我原先對小戴打法的預期，而陳雨菲的表現也非常出色，太精彩了！

沒想到一年後東京奧運決賽兩人再度交手，完全針對小戴，陳雨菲以守為攻減少自己的失誤，反倒小戴變的進攻次數增多導致失誤連連

She is more steady with her plays now. She knew that if she'll be doing more trick shots and deceptions she might commit more errors. Now, She played it safe but steady. Commanding every shot and rally. More of attacks and she took advantage of CYF's weakness in deep backhand. You are such a fun player to watch. It never gets boring especially if you are on your flow and feel of the shuttle. Love from Filipino here in Caribbean!! :) Can't wait for your next tournament.

TTY played a smart game. I agree with the previous comments, less trick shots and more fundamental strokeplay. TTY has a formidable arsonel of shots at her disposal. If she can keep unforced errors under control, she could finish off opponents easier. That disguised cross-court drop shot is pure gold! Awesome performance! Congrats to TTY.

TTY finally changed her game - less fancy trick shots and more solid plays. The less mistakes she made - the less chance CYF to win points. Now probably it's time for CYF to change her game now.

Fully agree. TTY tends to go for showmanship. At times she needs to be like Carolina. Ruthless and efficient. For sheer quality, it would be more interesting if her opponents in the finals are players like AY and RI. Lot of fireworks. Congratulations TTY. Hopefully you will win the Olympic gold which you are the most deserving.

Actually Her fancy game style is what makes her very unique and difficult to play against. Whenever she is in good form and is able to execute them well, It's very difficult for her opponents to cope with her. Watch her match against Marin in some HK Open way back 2015 or 2016 or something She played Marin with that kind of game style And even the in-form Marin could not do anything but to look like a puppet running around the court.

小戴這場比賽，手法減少假動作的頻率，直接起高就攻擊邊線，雖然很耗體力，但讓對手無法抓住她的習慣動作，最後獲得勝利。我認為這是教練安排的新策略，全場五次邊線球壓線，是苦練的結果，實力的展現，絕非運氣。

Tai Tzu Ying exacted sweet revenge on Chen Yufei who beat her 21-17, 21-17 in the All England final last year. Tai played a clever tactical game and denied Chen the leeway to attack, forcing her to be uncertain and sometimes make errors, and won 21-19, 21-15. Tai is skillful but humble, and fully deserves her victory.

Chen has improved a lot. Last year I thought she was kind of lucky but damn she is so much better than I thought. Glad to see TTY got the championship back. Would be nice if Chou got one too.

Before this, the least anticipating sector for me is WS because of the style of play and my country itself didnt produce any great player in WS. But after i discover TTY in 2018, that was the first moment i am focussed on this sector. Really, TTY is my favourite player right now. Nice to see Chen bringing out the best in Tai! Determined, focused, efficient, pumped up,Tai deserved to win this match. Too bad the same cannot be said about Chen’s performance today. She was obviously nervous, making many more unforced errors than usual, including quite a few judging errors. 18 months ago I was enjoying the competitions between Tai and Intanon the most. Now I look forward to Tai going head to head against Chen, especially at major venues like the Olympics and the World Championship. They both have a variety of shots at their disposal, and are great thinkers on court.

Everyone is talking about how great TTY was, but in my opinion Chen Yu Fei is just as great as TTY. And plus CYF is the winner of the this match (overall).

They are sharing SAME Chinese DNA. They BOTH are greatest players & they are world # 1 / # 2 players. TTY WON 21-19; 21-15 at THIS match. Today at least at THIS game SHE, TTY did NOT lose ! WHAT are you talking ABOUT ???

The real TTY is back! Her rank has been back to no.1 until the next tournament held in 3 months later. She is definitely going to hold the longest record of first ranking. Hopefully, she keeps winning every tournaments in order to maintain her first ranking

For me tty is the winner. It's her third olympics and first final . She will get it . I became her fan after watching semi final against Sindhu

吐了，一个比赛而已啊，至于么。台独戴这点装得还是不错的。。。很多假把式确实可以赢得人心，12年汤尤杯去武汉看过她打球，现场观众给她加油打气，从落后因达农到翻盘赢下比赛，然鹅她打完直接收包走人，头也不抬就走了，一点表示都没有，哪里看到了谦卑，一点感激都没有。。。。
