you need to hover over the f-zero 99 selection then WAIT. After some time, it will "glitch" with a glitchy texture briefly, maybe 1 second long. Thats when you enter in. You will get the ??? track offered then.

Since the original F-Zero moved its Safe Zone to higher ranks after each lap and that finishing below that place resulted in disqualification, it is a perfect way to 99-ify any racing video game. Although I did not play F-Zero 99, I love that battle royale racing game, as it uses the "Rank Out" feature from the original F-Zero to fit the battle royale format. If the player is at or below the Safe Rank, the small "Safe Rank" rectangle turns yellow, and the "SAFE RANK X" text appears on the screen, with X as the ongoing lap's Safe Rank. The yellow rectangle and the "SAFE RANK X" text encourage players below the Safe Rank to hurry up if they do not want to be eliminated. If the player is below the Safe Rank and the last safe car is almost at the start/finish line, the "Safe Rank" rectangle turns red, and the "RANK OUT ZONE" text appears, warning players below the Safe Rank that they face likely disqualification from the race. It sums up why I, despite not having played F-Zero 99, love that battle royale game to the point of trying to make Microsoft PowerPoint animations based on F-Zero 99. I absolutely love how Tetris 99, Pac-Man 99, Super Mario Bros. 35, and F-Zero 99 revolutionized the idea of using battle royale treatments on other games regardless of their genres, as each battle royale variant's own quirks gave us ideas on how to 99-ify any game in general. With all the different ways I try to give any game a battle royale twist, especially with 99 players, people could call me the Great 99-Ifier.

@@Ray_2112 I do not have a Nintendo Switch, and since I am unlikely to get one, it is why I did not play F-Zero 99. My appreciation for the Nintendo battle royale games did go to the point that I started creating Microsoft PowerPoint animations for Tetris 99, Pac-Man 99, and F-Zero 99, but with additional music/sound schemes to further explain why people could call me the Great 99-Ifier if coming up with additional 99-ifications does not even begin the explanations. If one plans to make Plants vs. Zombies 99, it would be made so that defeating a Zombie sends it to a different player's lawn. Similarly, one can 99-ify a battle royale shooter (such as Fortnite, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, and Call of Duty: Warzone) by placing each of a match's 99 players in individual playthroughs of the VS. AI (Computer Battle) mode and by making it so defeating an in-game enemy transports the adversary to a different player's game like it is Super Mario Bros. 35, a platformer royale where defeating an in-game enemy sends it to another player's game.

@@Mongomcdongo It seems that is just random for now. It's a good way to keep people playing until they find new tracks. And probably in the future they are gonna release a new Grand Prix with them

I really don't like the random way they added the new tracks or better said only one track for now...for someone who hasn't played the game for weeks it might be nice to play an hour the old tracks to then maybe finally play a new one, but for those who play regularly it sucks to have this locked behind some random rotation system that barely shows up.
