Absolutely had the same reaction. I was like, eh this is cool, obviously wish it was a remaster of a later game. Then I played a few rounds, looked at my buddy and said "I take it back, this is amazing!

It's hilarious that everyone is having the same reactions: first anger and disappointment at it not being a sequel, to seeing how fun it is and going wild. I have to say though... I don't own a Switch or pay for the online service, so even though I would LOVE to play this I can't justify spending that much money. Their insistence on proprietary everything costs them sales.
