This custom F-Zero hack was made by Silverreploid CLE. It has altered tracks and is way more difficult than the regular F-Zero. It has altered tracks and provides a huge challenge for experienced F-Zero players. Please note: This is no speedrun, no TAS, I used rewind, savestates and cut out failed attempts.

##### My opinion: #####
During my playthrough I witnessed a very problematic Big Blue. Its design is very technical and the gamecode got streched to its limits. At first it was unintuitive not to jump straight forward, but the split track resulted in a few "Reverse" messages. Sand Ocean, Red Cayon II and Fire Field are extremly difficult. I needed many attempts to even get to the next stage or finish the game. The colors of the Space Machines are altered, too and I assume the positions of the opponents as well. It was fun and gave me quite a challenge.
Recommended? Yes
Audience: Very experienced F-Zero players

Mute City 1: A nice take on a classic. Feels very similar to the original but it's got some trickier curves. Big Blue: ...wat. This track just feels off. Tight corners with narrow roads are fine, but the way they're done on this one just feels iffy. Also, the point where the two parallel roads meet should probably be marked or at a different angle, a player going in blind would just go straight and end up going the wrong way. F-Zero Maximum Velocity has some good examples of how to do split roads like that. Sand Ocean: I like that it borrows a bit from the original track, and then adds its own spin. The section over the jump doesn't give much time to let the boost from the jump wear off, that could probably be reworked a bit. The magnet straight could also benefit from alternating between sides, too. Death Wind 1: Fuck Death Wind. You'll probably notice that I say this a lot, the problem is the wind mechanic. I've only ever really seen it used in a way that actually adds value to the track on Sandstorm 2 from BS F-Zero GP2, where it makes certain sections of the course trickier without just having dash panels go straight into walls. The original Death Wind just uses it as an annoyance, the original Death Wind 2 turns it into a massive pain in the ass, and most hack tracks don't really seem to take it into account. Silence: I really don't like the landing off of that first jump, it's another place where someone going in blind would get screwed over. Usually when you have a jump like this where there's a high possibility the player will fall off if they assume it's just a normal jump, it's good to either make the landing visible (like Tenth Zone East Plummet Circuit from Maximum Velocity) or mark it (like Port Town Forked Road from GP Legend). I'm also not a fan of the tight turn right after the chokepoint as it's effectively a forced damage situation. Mute City 2: This reminds me a lot of Bianca City Tightrope Circuit from Maximum Velocity, which in itself was an alright track if kinda basic. Port Town 1: Honestly, for a Queen League track it doesn't do that much, and what it does do is just kinda meh. Narrow sections on their own are fine but this just kinda draws them out in a way that makes the backmarkers (a random element) significantly more dangerous, but doesn't make the track itself interesting. Red Canyon 1: Ok, I like that jump, because it does an offset landing jump right. The "bounce pad" in the middle of the jump is visible from the initial jump pad so the player has time to react. And the "leap of faith" is just a straight line with no narrowing of the landing. It's a simple track, but it does what it does really well. This feels like it could be in an official F-Zero game, like as part of a "new tracks" DLC for F-Zero 99. White Land 1: Ok, that first jump with the barrier? That's NOT ok. And that pit area after the second jump? ...no. If it was any worse, it'd be a death wind track. White Land 2: Order now and we'll throw in a second beating absolutely free! Mute City 3: The previous Mute City tracks have been alright, and this one has a good start. Then the boosted jump comes up and tosses you straight into a corner, creating yet another forced damage scenario. Death Wind 2: ...I actually don't hate this one that much. While it's definitely not the best use of the wind mechanic, the spiral does synergize decently well with it. There needs to be more time between the jump and the turn following it to let the machine come back down to a controllable speed, though. Port Town 2: This is actually pretty good, and I wish Port Town 1 used the magnet section from this track rather than the narrow section. Also, that was a nailbiter of a race. Red Canyon 2: The only parts I don't really like about this track are the ones that are exclusive to it. The narrow ice section and narrow landmine section, while not cardinal sins, are kinda iffy IMO. Fire Field: This is a really good Fire Field. A bit unconventional and a bit of a spaghetti bowl, and that blind corner jump needs to be marked, but it seems like a good way to wrap up the hack. Overall: There's things I really like about this hack and things I don't. I do like the use of sections that aren't just straight north, south, east or west, and some of the ideas are really nice. But the forced damage sections are a bit of a turnoff. And White Land needs to be completely reworked.

After all these years I finally know the answer to an intriguing question: If the AI cars hit the ground & not the racing surface after a jump, do they crash out? The answer is no. They just continue. 😑

Sometimes, it happens in the regular game and in White Land II, the snail cars always land in the that area. Only the flashing cars can be destroyed, when, but only when YOU hit them. There is also a situation where they won't explode after a hit, I guess it was when you are still tumbling because you hit a mine

Watching f zero at 2x speed is the speed of your average F zero x vehicle drive. Fire stingray top speed: 478km/h Multiply by 2 =956km/h
