It would have to be pre-accident Mighty Gazelle, which we don't know much about or his previous machine.

​@@AshkarBehek0 there's a fan theory going around that the guy with the Mohawk in the SNES manual was Mighty Gazelle before the accident, much like how the mobster that Captain Falcon apprehended was Don Genie.

​@@LuwiigiMaster He had a red mohawk though (as its seen from F-zero X after winning a cup on master) and the guy on manual has a black one, maybe it was used as inspiration for the character or something (i dont think they had idea for specific racers outside of the main 4 at the time of snes).

@@Andre-od5hf that's true, and some have speculated the guy with the Mohawk was indeed Mighty Gazelle based on this idea. This is about as accurate as the fat mobster in the same comic being Don Genie. Then again, Pico looked like the grinch instead of a turtle, so changes happen?

I believe, back before the internet was super wide-spread, physical mail was the main way shows used to communicate with their viewers outside direct phone calls. They'd have segments such as "We want your drawings! Send them to this adress for a chance to be picked!" or something along those lines. So the way the TV announcer shows the adress is to basically tell the viewers to "Send in a mail to this adress to have a chance to win the autograph."

the accident is way before X. in the manual in FZX they say several years passed since the accident before the GP was restarted in that game.

Do also keep in mind that the lore isn't consistent between X and GX. Both games mention a large accident that killed several racers that put F-zero on hold for a bit and the game was meant as a revival of the sport. In X, Super Arrow was the only survivor with Skull being one of the casualties, while the accident that lead to Gazelle becoming a cyborg wasn't stated to be that same one that cancelled the races. In GX, the accident that cancelled races was the one that lead to Gazelle being cyberized, is implied to have been caused by Pico and Skull and Super Arrow are no longer tied to the accident anymore (Skull being a long dead racing champion that revived himself through Black Magic to continue having fun and Super Arrow hunting down Zoda now).
