I can't seem to find an answer online, but why do Fzero speed runs always end with you coming in second with? Is the second place loading screen that much faster or something?

I think F-Zero cannot compare with Mario Kart (more interesting tracks, more action by items), but I still liked to play it once and a while. I liked the alien in the green car best because he had the best power so I could ram all the others :D
