16 years later... It's still worth getting and playing it. Such a neat game, and the intro, it's the best intro of an F1 game I ever watched. Seriously, Codemasters can take an example of Studio Liverpool regarding intro videos for F1 games...

I love how a) There seems to only be three cars left in this race and b) That a feature of this exciting intro is "AW YEAH, LOOK AT THESE DRIVERS GOING HARD AT IT... BEHIND THIS COOL SAFETY CAR! AWWW YEAH!" Plus how James Bond-y it is with the fashion models and fancy effects. But, that bit with the car in the garage roaring to life as the music kicks in is class, plus when Alonso gets sprayed with rain in slow-mo.

EA used this song on "Burnout Type Game" NFS MW 2012's First Introduction, which is the first time you played the game, I put quote mark on Burnout Type Game is because, people said this is burnout, just because Criterion made the game.

I played this game so much as a kid, but I don’t remember hearing this song. I then went back recently listening to muse and on the butterflies and hurricanes video people were saying they were here from F1 05, so I came here to watch the intro and found it had it! So weird! I love the new f1 games, but there are some features this game had that could make them better, like a higher chance of ai collisions, a damaging system which lets you strip the car of wheels and wings, a podium cutscene and multi car cameras!
