He didn’t get knocked out. As a formula car driver, the first thing you get taught is to leave your hands off the wheel when you’re about to crash at high speed because if the car hits the barrier and suddenly changes direction, there’s a chance the violent steering could break your wrists.

False, it wouldn't be "easily". Grosjean went through the barriers because the car was very heavy. Before 2017 the cars were very light and very likely that kind of crash would never happen even if they went straight into a barrier.
