Nice video - but wrong title ! There are no turbo´s ... only normal aspirated Ford engines !

+Racemike1 first thing I saw was that early 1980s Williams with the Saudia sponsorship and I knew straight away that that was a DFV-powered car. Very misleading video title from Motor Vidz

One Judd, one Alpha flat 12, and the rest were Ford DFV's.

In most of this events (like SVRA in the US) they don't allow turbo cars to participate (some may be in FBoss in Europe) We have Andretti's 87c March with a DFY Turbo and we can't run with must events, we also have a 98 Benetton F1 with a DFR and that qualify as "F1" in some classes as must F1 cars here in the US have a 4L V10 Judd and that makes them a FBoss. Love the sound of the Cosworth Motors !

That's actually the similar looking Shadow DN5. You can tell mainly from the lack of the typical V8 muscle sound.

These aren't turbocharged engines. That's a typical Cosworth DFV sound.

As everyone in the know has pointed out all cars were non turbo. The f5000 car isnt that. It was a f1 car of the same marque used in f5000 hence the cosy dfv sound coming from it

Titel is confusing. Almost all of them, if not all are Cosworth engined so non turbo

Lovely video - except that fact that the Williams FW07, Arrows 003, Tyrrell 012, Shadow DN5 were all non-turbo cars designed in the late 70's or early 80's. The McLaren M23 seen at 2:59 was first raced in 1973 and the Shadow DN5 seen 1:02 was raced in 1975. Quite a stretch to call them "80's turbo cars".
