And the fact his car had little downforce, a manual stick gearbox and around 1000hp makes it even more impressive considering how much downforce cars nowadays have and that shifting is super easy now

Back in his times there were more DNFs at monaco than now but that's besides the point, Senna was truly and by far the best of his time

i was 19 years old wen senna fatal crash , still makes me shudder wen i see him drive , the cars and drivers those days wore just hard core , never watched f1 again after senna pass...

Sure he was the goat at Monaco but you have to remember that the cars are three times bigger today and are also harder to maneuver around Monaco

They were manuals back then... you drove most of the time in monaco with one hand same time handling an 1000 horsepower car that had no downforce compared to todays formula cars. Keep that in mind.

bro. how do you expect them to not make mistakes on Monaco? first, it’s a very difficult track band second, the cars have gotten longer over time. those cars were way shorter and there was room for them to make those maneuvers but now the cars are longer. common sense

But senna's skill was obvious he had the talent even though on paper and score he was a bit behind but you have to agree that senna was the greatest of all time ( Every F1 drivers great than average human being but senna was great than most F1 drivers that's all ) Ask every F1 driver who was their hero the answer will be Ayrton Senna
