Except Dorna and promoters are doing a piss poor job of marketing and making the sport relevant. MotoGP is nowhere near as popular or widely seen or embraced as F1. With little money coming in, little money gets paid to the riders.

@@sooperman12 Exactly, it's unfair for the riders. Especially to what they are risking. No wonder Lorenzo had to call it quits after his last worst injuries he had suffered Assen. That made him realize if riding to the limit again is worth more than everything. He didn't even care about the Ducati offer & HRC's pleasing him to stay to complete his contract. DORNA made it big in Spain but not in the other countries. I think they need to re-shuffle the leadership in that organization & find more ideas to improve it's marketing like what F1 did with Liberty taking over long time boss Bernie Ecclestone

in this world there are many dangerous jobs that pay less than people who work just sitting in front of a computer or just talking.

@@rzaultra165 all jobs are like that. However, this isn't a real job. Those in the garages are the ones who got the real one. Racers called what they do as a job due to the fact that they are paid to play/race. Racing become their perspective in life. By nature it isn't same with the others that is why it's called sports. So, it's unfair. You know boxing right, it's super risky as well. The ones who are top dogs really earn a hefty amount of prize money when they already got the name same with Basketball & Tennis. Even Gold which is a sport for old people 😅

@@dayleashleynolasco5765 We are wrong if we expect the same salary as F1 racers, because F1 and MotoGP are different. It could be that if MotoGP racers are now paid the same as F1, then in the future F1 will actually increase the salaries of drivers even more, because F1 still wants to be above other races, they still want to be known as an expensive race.

They didn't try it. It's too dangerous for people who never train on a racing bike.

@@Pwnz0rh3nk I'm from India and in Indian market the price of motorcycle above 300cc with dual cylinder are Jawdropping... I have always wanted to own a 600cc CBR but 600 cc is illegal in indian road...
