When Andy said "look at the sun" to help a sneeze along. That only affects 1 in 4 people and is called photic sneeze reflex. It's because the nerve that is responsible for the sneeze reflex is too close to the optic (eye) nerve. So when we see bright lights the signal jumps nerves and sends the signal to the wrong part of the brain. Something to think about if you're struggling to catch F1s shallow. Tight lines!

Wish I’d seen this before my last session on a snake lake. I was so frustrated with the little bites and missing. I swapped between shallow rig and jigger……I did ok but making changes like Andy did would’ve made such a difference. Live & learn. Great vid chaps.

Hello Jamie and Andy I’ve been watching you for a while (not a stalker lol ) you are two seriously great guys so funny and yet very informative just watched this session and I’m very impressed will definitely remember some of the rig set ups and the techniques. I have a suggestion I hope you will understand. When you are baiting up you refer to a match situation and therefore bait to that specification can you also include in your videos how you would also bait up in a general days fishing which I think would help a lot of people just going out on a random days fishing. Hope this is something you could do on a regular basis. Keep up the great work your a good team all three of you. Look forward to some more lessons cheers guys. 😀😀

Hi guys, I always seem to have a problem with very small, almost nuisance fish when I go shallow, is there away to avoid them? Always seem to get bites off the real babies (not even an ounce) as they tend to feed on the drop. I also can end up bumping them as I’m on 11 duraslip usually. Is this an issue or should I just try to keep catching them in the hope they will draw in the F1s, skimmers and possibly carp?

It's a shame 'f'wons' haven't really made it to the east of England yet! I like the more technical ways of fishing and get quite jealous of my old mates tales from his learning journey on the Heronbrook vets matches now he's discovered commercial fisheries.

Looking at the catapult Andy uses how does he stop the elastic from twisting as mine always seems to twist :(. I tried to get the one Jamie uses but out of stock everywhere
