i do not want to start an argument here, but experiencing 5Gs for milliseconds isnt really any hard. Whats hard would be experiencing the same Gs for an extended period of time; anything more than 6 seconds and most would black out, even these lads. Whats hard in F1 is not the Gs, its the speed. their reflexes are out of this world. but when you see their bodies, they may look fit, but F1 drivers get as skinny as possible, mainly to conserve weight and make it easier for the aero of the car by taking more stuff from it. the body part that hits them the hardest is their neck, regarding G forces because its very small and as you can see from their helmets, its not stable, it moves all the time. so when the car is in the corner, its their neck that receives all these Gs, thus why some of many exercises they do are neck exercises ( it was why senna died ). their bodies are pinned in their seat, and the seats are designed with exact measurements depending on the driver, for better control of their car. its not about the amount of Gs they get, but its for how long they are exposed to those Gs. but the hardest of them all, is the speeds which they go through each corner.

@philippebeauchamp28273 жыл бұрын
@@PR1NCETD0T It's all about the feel of the car (stable) and the outside environment. After that it's only about getting used to a track driving in F1. If you want my honest opinion, anyone could drive an F1 if they took the time to do it. If you play a simulator, it's not that complicated once in real life. It's even easier since you feel absolutely everything in the car. So it's easier to know the limits of the car and it's easier to follow the apex because everything feels exactly like it should. But concentration is another thing. It's still an endurance race so you've got like 60 laps to do at maximum effort, more or less.

F1's gone backwards in terms of top speed in recent times, its had 2 nerfs with the first being when the ultra fast V10s were replaced with V8s and then rev limiting them, that means the V8 era was some of the lowest top speed seen in F1 since the 70s, then most recently the rule change to wider, heavier more draggy cars since 2017 slowed the top speed dramatically, the V6/turbo/hybrid in 2016 was getting really fast even surpassing the V10s with top speed recorded numerous times over 370kph and eleven 371kph and a unofficial 378oph in the race, now those speeds are nigh on impossible from 2017-2021 with the amount of drag we have even though the engines are far more powerful than in 2016 with 5 years of development, however for 2022 new regulations will see cuts in drag so we might yet see a speed record in the next couple of years especially if the pre selected gear ratio allows it, the engines certainly are capable of it with around 1100hp at peak now, if drag levels are down to 2016 levels we could see 380kph.
@neerajnongmaithem3922 жыл бұрын
They can still go faster in straights but that will sacrifice cornering speeds due to low downforce. They are still setting fastest laps which means that they are still getting faster each year
@sayochikun32882 жыл бұрын
True. I know some people will skim over this comment and say "oh. So the old f1s were better". This comment talks about top speed. With each year, f1s get more and more specialized for the tracks, aiming for the maximum performance. Which may/is require more drag on the vehicle

In the 80's and 90's Williams were the top of the game. They won plenty of constructers championships (9), drivers championships (7) and were extremely competitive. Sadly they didn't have the same technical advancements as the other teams. Partly because the large, biggest teams started outspending them by a great margin. In 2019 for example mercedes had a budget of 484 million where Williams only had a budget of 132 million! That's an insane difference, the teams can't be competitive with such a large difference in budgets
