True,it was 2019 season where i started watching regularly. Carlos and Lando made me a fan of McLaren. It's sad he moves on now. But I think we all can look forward to see the Honeybadger in the future ;)

Cannot agree. Ironically, Ferrari won’t sign him if he shows the ability to win. Only by hiding his intention to beat the teammate and pretended to be easy to control gives him the seat.

Sainz following alonso: its freaky Sainz starts at toro rosso (before 2006 it was minardi) goes to renault and goes then to Mclaren and afther that ends up at Ferrari. Alonso: Starts of at minardi (became toro rosso in 2006) goes to renault then ends up at mclaren, goes back to renault and then in 2010 gets a ferrari seat.

Sooooo all the people that thought that leaving McLaren was a mistake because he was going to be just a wingman to Leclerc (also there's the fact that McLaren didn't try to retain him), take a moment to think what he has achieved on his first year at Ferrari. Domenicali just said Carlos for him is the biggest surprise of the Season. He's a different character than Max for sure, but he's there on par with top drivers, driving skills, consistency, team player. VAMOS!!

That's a very good point. They couldn't produce a video like this AND get it approved by Ferrari and McLaren and whoever else in only several hours. The decision was obviously made weeks ago. Chilli is a good guy and deserves every success. I am concerned however, that in due course, Ferrari will chew him up and spit him out at their convenience. Particularly when you consider that Ferrari have fkd over Schumacher, Raikkonen and now Vettel. All removed from the prancing pony stable for similar reasons more or less.

Carlos done great at McLaren, I am sad to see him leave the team he really helped bring back up. But. Its Ferrari, he had to take it. Respect for taking the leap and I wish Carlos and McLaren both continue the upwards trajectory

Almost 4 years later I realized that sainz has a similar team-switching history compared to alonso. Renault - Mclaren - Ferrari if i’m not mistaken

There is a massive difference between Max and Carlos.....they both are massively talented.....but the humble nature of carlos really made us love him more than Max.......it seems because of their upbringing.....they are like this......All the best Carlos I am your biggest Fan here
