I'm liking the F20B powerband for boost, coming from a boosted h22a, I think that extra breathe on the F20B up top helps biggg time with bigger turbos.

Reliability wise, the f20b is without a doubt better for turbo. All f series engines has iron sleeves, h series don’t

I own a BONE STOCK f20b 390cc injectors in my accord! I thought about goin with H22 but glad I went with the f20b. Javi tuned (same guy who tuned frustrateEG) I call it my SI killer. Raced 2008 civic SI 3 times & 2015 Si twice, both got spanked!

Jacob Webb Si is 200 hp stock. I smoke Sis in my F20b prelude. Si with no tune stand zero chance and tuned ones get beat to.

Jonathan Pontel it’s about longevity, F20b is also boost friendly with iron sleeves unlike the frm h22

Accord Sir t F20b jdm have 197cv and 201nm , accord type r H22a7 have a 212cv and 220nm My accord type es cg9 have a F20b6 sohc vtec 147cv and 184nm. The f20b is a small brother to h22a7. The diference is ,f20b is open deck ,and h22a7 is close deck (more boost).

Are you fucking stupid? The red accord (euro r) comes with h22a (jdm spec) or h22a7( euro spec). It never came with an f20b so onviously the camera car is the f20b car.

I just looked at the right car which was a torneo euro r which will have a h22a and the car on the left will probably be an F20B CF4 Accord.

Btw the old original h22 had iron sleeves... But why not wet sleeve the block? I'm biulding a g23 b17 h2b

INDUSTRAILIST no H22 of any designation, open or closed deck, ever came with iron sleeves from the factory in any market. Every single one has FRM liners. If somehow you’ve come across one, it was done after the engine left the factory and you lucked up by getting one that had the sleeves already replaced.

h22 makes 200hp too and has a better powerband. H22 let off because it was getting dangerous.

+Patrick Doolittle Im sure this is an H22a from the euro R and F20b from Accord SIR-T . 20hp difference and 200cc plus for the H22A

yea but the f20b is better overall. it was race derived. and it has iron sleeves. the h22 would be fantastic with iron sleeves, and a pcv that doesnt kick the bucket every trip around the block. lol

Race derived? It was used because they had to adhere to a strict 2 liter rule. Also the f20c in the s2000 uses frm sleeves. It must be a piece of shit engine then. It's not better overall, it's all around a bit worse.

yes, frm sleeves = shit. the rest of the f20c engine design and engineering is fantastic. but its let down by the frm. just like the h22. and the displacement is due to the 2 liter rule sure. that does not discount my argument at all. the h22 is a good engine. but due to its frm, the f20b is just a better choice. im sorry but what makes an engine good isnt JUST how much power it can make. that is just nonsense.

f20b is better for F/I, H22a is better N/A. swaping out my jdm h22a for a f20b soon.
