Man I’ve had this light since April and no instructions on how to put it in . I’m glad you made this video it was super easy after seeing we had to extend inside cable that I didn’t think of .

The process was a test of will but worth it. Day 1: The headliner fasteners seemed to defy physics and refuse to submit to my removal tools and cursing. I went on to do some other chores. Day 2: I finally won the battle with the headliner fasteners! I removed the old light housing and met my second challenge- the fasteners for the connectors. At this point, I was questioning my choice of buying the Morimoto X3B. The 90 degree plus weather was not helping matters. I decided to work at night in the garage. Armed with headlamps and work lights, I attacked. After several trips to the roll-around tool box, I got the darn things loose. I'm now tired and out of curse words. Tomorrow is another day. Luckily, I live in the mountains that's heavily forested where only the wildlife has to put up with my verbal abuse. After splitting and stacking more firewood, taking my Black Lab for his mile run, and our lunch, I'm ready to finish the X3B install. I remove the X3B from the box and admire it's design and fine finish. There's a bag with a wiring harness in it. WHERE'S THE FLASHER MODULE?!!!!!!!! Well this is just peachy- no module. After some sleuthing, I find out that it was shipped separately and won't arrive for a couple more days. Fast forward. A couple of days later, it's finally wrapped up. It looks great and, as advertised, it's functions are awesome. *Your video is well produced, good audio, and very helpful. Thanks!

Nice, this helps! You mention it several times (and you can see the truck itself lol) but I would have still put "Ford F-250" somewhere in the title or description of the video. Either way, cool video!

Helpful video, only thing i can add to it is when trying to clip the morimoto clip into the factory one is to pull it out of the head liner, clip them together and feed it back up then pull it threw the correct spot and plug it in. Beats fishing for it tryna get it clipped together through that little hole.

Anyone have thoughts on long term sustainability if I forgot to do the two interior plastic 'pegs'?

I just installed mine 2 days ago and for some reason the cargo lights only worked the very first time I installed. Any idea why? Is yours doing the same? The cargo lights don’t come on when i open the door or anything. But the red brake lights do work properly

I had to drop the back part of my headliner as well. Instructions from Morimoto were not good.

Is your truck deleted?

You would think they could make an adapter for the stock plug....what a pain in the ass👎 (Yeah I'm cussing rn)
