I have an upgraded front mount. If you have all the tools you need and a friend or two that have experience working on cars go for it yourself. its not hard just annoying to line up. I don't remember how long it took but just have a day planed out for it bc I might tell you 2hrs but it takes up 6 for you to do it

DaniSkander I’m now realizing that I have a leak at the mid pipe clamp and I’m thinking at the turbo clamp as well. Did you replace the gasket for the turbo clamp? Is that necessary?

Ya so when you buy a tune usually the tuner gives you some options: rear o2 delete, cold star delete, burble tune etc. When you purchase the tune you just ask the tuner to remove the cold start since the only point of it is to warm up the Cats. With my tune, BM3, their are settings the use can tweak and I basically have an on/off button if I want coldstart or not.

E85 is probably a special tune option. Bolt on parts don’t require a special type of fuel. With minimal parts installed, for example if you have a down pipe only with a tune you can easily run the 93 octane only tune to get the most out of your down pipe or full exhaust set up.

That with a catless downpipe is my ideal setup but the quad exhaust is too expensive for me. You will have a CEL with no cats but it's not harmful. The coldstart shouldn't be too bad since you have a muffler.

No. It will not turn on unless you do not have a tune. Tune your car then do the catless downpipe

They are easy to break after a certain point . which seems to be about 350 wheel hp/tq. The problem is thet get near 0 oil pressure under high Gs. However going cat-less and a simple tune won't throw you over that limit.

Have not tried the pipe without a tune. CEL will def turn on due to O2 readings but idk if that would cause limp mode. Get a code reader from Amazon and it will show you all issues

its not all that expensive, but if you cant afford it dont get one. Met many BMW owners who force buy it and cant keep up with either payments, maintenance, etc. If you have the money I definitely would go for it but not a 328i get a 335i

I bought it pre-owned and it came with free maintenance for 3yrs. Nothing really went wrong other than an axle but that was my fault. As long as you do everything youself you should be solid

If you are doing the calculations by hand I think you are forgetting that normal fuel also has 10% ethanol content. So 4 gal of E85 is 4*.85 = 3.4 gallons of ethanol 11.6 gal of gas is 11.6*.10= 1.16 gallons of ethanol so now you have 4.56 gal of ethanol out of 11.6 which 29% Ethanol (E29) However when you are filling up you usually have some fuel left so you are adding a little more ethanol than you actually need making up for that 1%

Enkei RS05RRs. I went for a square setup with 4 fronts but I wish I went with 4 rears for wider tires. That would require front camber to fit tho.
