@@saaanjaveed the standard sport shifter from any M Sport F30 or even any F series. I had to cut a small plastic tab off as it was near where the e drive button was but was just plug and play after that.

Sweet! Which bmw did you get the new shifter from? Model/year? I want to do this to my 2015 328i. Also, the glasses case I ordered did not come with the grommets and screws, guess I’ll have to get them at the hardware store.

I had an F30 with standard auto transmission, replaced by an F30 with the M package and the sports auto transmission (with that fat selector knob). Personally, I believe the standard transmission setting is better, The sports one does NOT improve performance at all. It just introduces an artificial sensation that's ALL WRONG with that "engine stalling" feel upon throttle application after slowing down. If it weren't because it would void my car's warranty, I would "uncode" it back to the standard behavior. Found out both are the same actual transmission modules but the "sports" one uses a cheap software trick at a hefty price tag. I remember when the sports option in a BMW brought you a proper Getrag gearbox.

I can't lie even though it's an expensive /pointless upgrade to some, I would love to see you upgrade the dash cluster to the 6WB. Then somewhere down the line upgrade to the newer iDrive. Either way good work as always sir.

I have an f30 and I keep all my sunglasses in that side compartment. Mine has felt in it though, why didn't you just line it with felt? I'm not sure, i'm the second owner so maybe the first owner put felt in mine for that exact reason. Nothing rattles in mine, all nice and soft felt. But I do agree, that little sunglasses thing is dope, I never use that handle either.

Just recently had the ABS light and chassis stabilization light come on. With BimmerLink I was able to figure out that I need to replace the Right Wheel Speed Sensor. Any suggestions on a reasonable cost?

The sunglasses holder fine but after a couple of months my spring broke and it flopped open all the time so the handle went back on

I broke the tabs getting the plastic cover out for one side of the sunglasses thing (the first step) and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the rest of it out. Anyone have ideas?

If u go to carbon fiber do the one Brian did that’s a full replacement, it’s a lot cleaner, and feels better. Do not do an overlay

Yep the faceliftbhas the old style one. I think this one is found in some 4 series models. I've seen some on some cars (4 series) and the rest were the old style. I'd what it is. I think it's an option to upgrade the transmission shifts. Like a sport transmission variant.

Hey, on the video thumbnails, you might want to avoid having the red bar of text at the bottom. KZfaq's subscribed channels page uses a red bar at the bottom of each thumbnail to indicate how much of a video you've already watched. Your thumbnails (this one for example) sometimes look like I've already watched the video. Now I need to go back and see which ones I might have missed! Great channel though. Definitely always inspire me to play with my F30.
