as a Liverpool supporter from 1980, I've watched our miserable downfall from 1990/91 - 1999/00 in just winning the FA Cup under Souness and League Cup under Evans. 2000/01 - 2008/09 I've watched Houllier's rebuild and carry on by Benitez for all being destroyed by Hicks and Gillette from 2009/10 - 2010/11 b4 FSG acquired Liverpool and watched the rebuild all over again from 2011/12 till present. My point is, whoever takes over from Klopp, I sure hope he can do a much better job or stay on par as Klopp

@@Bread_GarlichouseI’m an Arsenal fan and I’ll happily admit Henry’s record in major finals is atrocious 😂 3 FA Cup Finals, UEFA Cup Final & Champions League Final for Arsenal and no goals. Aside from the assist in the CL Final, nothing. Didn’t play in the 2005 FA Cup Final due to injury.

Yep, totally changed the game that did. Arsenal penalty, Henchoz straight red for handball on the line preventing a certain goal and Liverpool down to 10 men for the rest of the game. Pretty unlikely they win from there.

If my memory is still right I think that was the first year the FA Cup final was played at Cardiff while the Old Wembley was being rebuild. I remember following the match live on BBC. The good old days! Shame Henry never had his shooting boots on that day

From 1990/91 - 2022/23, Liverpool have won the FA Cup 4x in 6 finals - 91/92 beat Sunderland 2 - 0 95/96 lost Manchester Utd 0 - 1 00/01 beat Arsenal 2 - 1 05/06 beat West Ham on penalties 11/12 lost Chelsea 1 - 2 21/22 beat Chelsea on penalties
