Don’t send him on holiday. Change his training to rest for 5 days. They do better with a few days rest than they do if they have a weeks holiday.

Chesterfield is in Derbyshire Kev, they have a new ground as well which is a lot tidier. Called the Spireites after the famously twisted "Crooked Spire"

As someone from chesterfield a few facts, we have a new stadium 10,000 seats called the technique stadium. The spire is both twisted and crooked, known As the crooked spire. We’re in Derbyshire

I’d argue the Tesco is more famous than the football club in recent years. 6 years of pure depression, from league 1 playoffs, two straight relegations and now national league relegation battles

@@pokeprizefighter2736 yeah feel for them. The new stadium looked like a good platform especially with promotion to league one in the first season. Losing paul cook to Portsmouth who were in league two when Chesterfield finished 6th in league one was probably one of the reasons for the spiral

Chesterfield have a new ground. Remember going to old one (Saltergate) on Boxing Day, and the urinal being a brick wall with a gutter underneath.

Just rest Spasov from training until the "jaded" concern goes away. Sending him on holiday constantly is not only unnecessary, I actually find it is less effective at helping tired players than simply resting from training for some reason.

It’s called the crooked spire and it’s because unseasoned wood was used and then 32 tons of lead tiles were put on it causing it to twist, when I was in school there was a fairy tale that it was a dragon that landed on it and wrapped its tail around the spire causing it to twist

Chesterfield is in Derbyshire. The spire is crooked (twisted). They have had a new stadium for several years.

Chesterfield is Derbyshire, and the spire is crooked because the wood they used when it was built was wet so it bent. (I'm from not far from Chesterfield) Played football there as a boy) Edit: The wood was not dried correctly wet is probably the wrong word (its called wood seasoning) this was due to the fact that those who would have built it likely died to the plague (The Mrs knows more than I do)

Mansfield are big rivals of Chesterfield, Mansfield are in Nottinghamshire, Chesterfield however are in Derbyshire.

Chesterfield is Derbyshire.. They used cheap material when they made the spire, which is twisted. Chesterfield no longer play at Saltergate either. I live about 30 min drive from there.

i won't lie... when i seen Kettering drawn at home, I thought that's not too bad (bring on a winnable fixture)... then Man Utd drew against you and seen your face... I laughed... I hope you get a draw against their Under 23's (if that's what they do) and take them back to Old Trafford. That would certainly top the £1m... I predict that Notts Forest or Derby will be the first clubs to offer you a job.

Spasov isnt really tired. He just realized that you are gullible, so he uses that excuse to get additional weeks of holiday:D Try to rest him from training from time to time, and sub him regularly when you are in a comfortable lead.

Only play fm mobile and not 100% sure the fitness works the same but I just don't play a jaded player for 1 game and they almost always ready to go next match

Anyone else starting to think job interview offers dont come on FM21? Kev should have had something by now. In my save, in 4 seasons I've taken Bradford from L2 to the championship play off spots and I've not had a single interview offer yet

Nope. I've had 3 interviews in my save and have been headhunted by Napoli. And that's with 0 job applications. In the beginning of the game, manager movement is limited by clubs not wanting to pay compensation due to economic impact of COVID in game. Then if you sign a renewal, you're going nowhere because you're on a new contract. Once finances normalize, movement returns. But they're going to wait for you to run down your contract.

I took Kettering to the top of the National League, then got curious about other jobs and applied for a few. I didn’t get those, but I guess teams knew I was willing to move because I soon received a mid-season offer from League 1 Burton (where I failed miserably 😄).
