MrStratacaster agreed..... it’s great.... and Jimmie is playing it particularly mean.... also notice Stevie’s first go at the chorus parts aren’t quite “tuff enuff”... Jimmie tells Stevie after, and the second chorus is right on point.... and Jimmie and Kim look over and confirm...👍👍

@35diamondgirl Жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s professionalism, but Stevie’s playing a 6-string bass not lead guitar (if he’s stepping on anyone’s toes it’s Preston Hubbard’s but I don’t think Preston cared-all the T-birds loved Stevie). His job is to help drive the rhythm. But it’s love and respect too-Stevie played with many of his guitar heroes, Jimmie being his first and favorite, but he was always about letting a light shine on other people whenever he played with them. Albert King, Buddy Guy, Lonnie Mack, B.B. King to name just a few others he sat in and/or recorded with. Plus, Stevie was the Fab T-birds biggest fan and played with them as often as possible. He never would’ve stolen a show from them.
