Tony Bloom, is always a class act. Keep to the top 10 PL finish goal. Not sure on Fabain, a definite mid to high risk but Tony said he was the least-risk option. Great to see all top 4 key BHA Exec on the conference. COME ON SEAGULS!!!

_Press Conference Timestamps_ *Questions for Fabian Hürzeler:* 00:00 What does it mean to you to be the new head coach of Brighton? 00:28 Last season you won promotion to the Bundesliga with St. Pauli. What did [Tony, Paul, and David] do to convince you to leave Germany and come to the Premier League? 01:04 You're the youngest permanent head coach in EPL history. What makes you feel ready for this challenge right now? 01:49 There are six players in this squad that are actually older than you, so how are you gonna make sure that age isn't an issue? 02:22 The long-term vision - the model for the club - it is clear. What are your immediate priorities - what are you hoping that you can achieve in your first season here? 03:01 What do you think are the biggest differences, for you, going to be - coming to the EPL from being involved in the Bundesliga but also with the national side? 03:59 Have you managed to speak to some of the players yet? 04:26 There's a couple of coaches that have stayed. What's the latest in terms of your backroom staff and bringing in your team? 05:32 How much of the EPL did you watch while working in Germany? 06:29 What is it about Roberto de Zerbi's style that you admired so much? 07:15 And you saw [RDZ's style] firsthand in December at the Amex. What was that whole experience like? 08:13 Can you tell us why you decided to retire from playing so young and what gave you the coaching bug? 09:26 You mentioned about you quitting football early to become a coach. You obviously have that self-belief that you're gonna be successful. 10:20 You have one of the best chairmen and CEOs in world football. Is this the perfect [management and ownership] team? 11:25 We've had in the EPL before the likes of Thomas Tuchel, Jürgen Klopp, Daniel Farke, David Wagner - in terms of those sort of German managers, where are you positioned between them in terms of your philosophy? 12:41 [I'm guessing] you now just can't wait to get started - can't wait for the next month to go by for the EPL to kick off? *Questions for Tony Bloom:* 13:10 What made Fabian a standout candidate for you? 14:27 There's no guarantee with any appointment that you could have made this summer, but is it fair to say that this is a gamble? 14:56 There were clearly differences of opinion with RDZ which led to him departing. Did those conversations cause you to re-evaluate or re-analyze your model, or did it actually make you stronger in your belief about what you're doing here at Brighton? 15:42 Fabian said that he's quite open-minded about data - how important was that in your decision making? 16:22 Fabian talked about DNA. How important is the style of play? 16:55 We know you're very, very hands-on. How much of St. Pauli did you watch before saying "yep, this is our guy"? 17:21 [Rephrased] Are you targeting getting back into European places this season? 18:16 You have the unequivocal backing of the fans because of what you've done here, and in general I can't think of a player/manager signing you've gotten wrong. Any pressure with Fabian? 18:58 You love making history... What's your next bit of history after this? *Questions for Paul Barber:* 19:15 What can you expect in terms of incoming and outgoing [transfers]? 19:55 This club has had great success - that means you've got a lot of other clubs wanting your talent. What assurances have you had to give Fabian about keeping some of those? *Questions for David Weir:* 20:58 In terms of the new signing - very exciting. How long have you been tracking the player and - it's quite a sizable fee - what are you expecting in return?

Definitely a different vibe. Unsure how this energy influences players in a highly competitive and mature league and proving his mettle. De Zerbi’s speeches were self-controlled and mainly rooted by fact-based opinions - which is appreciated.
