Gli è andata bene che era McCartney, e McCartney è McCartney, un genio ma anche un po' un cazzone. Lennon alla terza domanda del cazzo lo avrebbe mandato affanculo. E scusate il turpiloquio (maquandocivuole....).

Vero. Probabilmente lo avrebbe mandato a quel paese. John era molto più schietto, onesto e diretto rispetto a Paul e agli altri.Mentre Paul più diplomatico e gentile. Io preferisco John. Mandare al diavolo Fazio o invitarlo a fare domande più concrete e pregnanti sarebbe stata anche una lezione per Fazio facendogli comprendere come si realizza un intervista di spessore, capace di lasciare il segno invece di questo colloquio superficiale, insignificante e ipocrita.

No. Non sei la sola. Una pessima intervista. E nemmeno divertente. Fazio mi è scaduto da molti anni soprattutto da quando ha dimostrato di essere molto venale. In ogni caso, avere la possibilità di intervistare Paul McCartney e perdere tempo con l'Inglese scolastico o cose del tutto irrilevanti che vanno anche spiegate all'intervistato è davvero imperdonabile per un conduttore professionista. Sembra che Fazio sia più preoccupato del suo pubblico e delle sue battutine che non di quello di McCartney. Un'occasione perduta. Un'intervista del genere va preparata. E a lui certo non mancavano autori che avrebbero potuto informarsi meglio e scrivergli due domande decenti. Paul è un grande musicista è una persona amabile è gentile. Sono un grande fan dei Beatles e suo in particolare.

Se fossi stato di fronte a Paul sarei svenuto e probabilmente avrei pianto...per tutto quello che hanno rappresentato lui e john e i Beatles...conobbi una che aveva conosciuto i Beatles durante le riprese di Help...chiesi se aveva stretto le mani a tutti e 4...rispose di si...strinsi le sue mani e poi corsi fuori casa sua e iniziai a correre e ad urlare...pensate quello che volete ma ero felice

- Adesso digli di rispondere di si alla domanda che sto per fargli. Caro Paul, tu conosci la Sampdoria? - Yes, si..everybody knows Sampdoria. AHAHAHAHA qui sono davvero svenuta, troppo divertente. L'intervista in sè per sè non è male, voglio dire è normale che Fazio fosse agitato..si parla sempre di Paul McCartney, mica del primo qualunque. A parte qualche domanda, che avrei sicuramente evitato, direi che è un'intervista piacevole e divertente sopratutto perchè Paul è così di buon umore che non puoi non ridere con lui, è adorabile. Mi è piaciuto molto quando ha raccontato di John nel loro primo viaggio insieme a Parigi, avrei voluto sentire però come si concludeva la storia. Sarebbe stato davvero epico e irripetibile se con Paul ci fosse stato anche John, Dio immagino che risate. ;)

Ammetto che l'intervista avrebbe potuto essere più "colta" , diciamo così . Si tenga presente però che Fabio all'epoca era giovanissimo, ma già dotato di uno stile personalissimo e, per tantissimi, molto divertente. Paul si è prestato subito allo stile faziano, da quel genio che era ( ed è ) .Alla fine ne è uscito un buon prodotto. Di interviste sui Beatles, sulla loro fine, sui rapporti con John, con Yoko ecc.ecc. erano piene le fosse ! Quindi Non siate troppo severi col giovane Fazio. Certo, se Mc Cartney fosse ospite a "Che tempo che Fa", credo che Fazio farebbe il pieno di ascolti . 👋

Io adoro questa intervista! Certo Fazio ha fatto delle domande un pò manali ma era nervoso! In somma chi non è nervoso a andare fare una intevista a Paul! Io sarei agitata fino alla fine! E Poi Paul non vole essere dtradato come leggenda. Ma come persona "norlmae" diciamo. E credo che è piacuto a riposndere a queste domande. :)

Dico , ma con tanti bravi giornalisti musicali che abbiamo come Red Ronnie,Carlo Massarini solo per citarne alcuni ,la Rai doveva propio mandare questo idiota raccomandato e provinciale di fazio davanti a un'enormita' musicale come Mc Cartney? Non parliamo poi dell'agghiacciante intervista di Celentano a Bowie , dopo 20 anni ho ancora ribrezzo.

James McCartney played some of the guitar solo on HEAVEN ON A SUNDAY exchanging guitar licks with his dad Paul -- and to my ears I could hear some Dave Gilmore influence in James' playing. Jeff Lynne co-produced FLAMING PIE with Paul and played and sang on the album -- the results were great and I often ask why Paul does not work with Jeff again? They should!

A me Fabio Fazio non piace, anzi generalmente non lo sopporto proprio ma in quest'intervista l'ho trovato simpatico e originale. Magari non è stato molto professionale ma ha fatto capire di essere un grande fan dei Beatles e di McCartney e quindi era molto emozionato.

Penso che non si possano fare certe figure professionali così meschine, vai davanti ad una delle persone più importanti della musica leggera del 900 e non sei preparato per fare un'intervista decente? Si riduce ad un colloquio surreale da bar che non arricchisce di un grammo nulla di ciò ce già si sapeva, orribile. Tralasciamo il fatto che avere bisogno del traduttore a quel livello era inconcepibile già in quegli anni. Una brutta figura della televisione italiana coi nostri soldi e Fazio ne ha collezionate parecchie nella sua carriera di queste figurette.

@@eliodue how can you be so sure dear friend lol? i heard it many many times to be really sure and it's not what i hear personnaly, i hear exactly " Bill", it's only the italian translation that makes you think that he say "beatles" in my opinion. Also, We know that "billy" likes to put clues, and just before talking about this story, Paul tell us "once again" that they are two mccartneys in his head, listen closely to the interview ;)

An actual doppelganger of Mike now. Just like when they use normal forced perspective photography illusions as proof that Faul is taller or they try to pass off Paul's IEM's as prosthetic ears. Lol. They should take a photography course sometime. Forced Perspective Illuision in photography is when someone is standing beside someone else but slightly ahead of the other making the illusion that one person is taller than the other. Almost all group pictures have this illusion. It's time for the Faulers to move beyond a 60s teenage fantasy that was born on college campuses in 1965 but mostly birthed from a satirical article about it and then a joke call in (by the same person who wrote it) to a radio show about it. Then exploited by an opportunistic record company and spurred on by the dry wit of the Beatles and their wives. Do they really think they are that stupid to call him Billy evey chance they got in front a camera?

Forse Fazio non sapeva che chi aveva di fonte era la mente musicale di un gruppo che si chiamava The Beatles. Gli ricordo, dovesse leggere questo commento, che in un locale di Liverpool c'è una scritta: "Da qui, nel lontano 1962, partirono quattro ragazzi. Niente sarebbe più stato come prima". 🙂

soprattutto perché paul è inglese. potreo capire le difficoltà nel parlare con un americano che potrebbe parlare un po troppo velocemente ma io a 17 anni ho capito tutto ciò che paul ha detto anche senza sotto titoli.. non è difficile ed è fondamentale per un giornalista sapere un po di inglese...
