Thank you for reminding me that there's a lot of poetry I actually like! After this I'm going to do a little more research on muslin. So that explains why I couldn't imagine the muslin I'm most familiar with as a luxury fabric and the fabric that is muslin is sometimes called gauze. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. This whole colonization story is making me very angry!
