Fabric painting for beginners / Painting few leaves on cotton fabric / Fabric painting ideas

3 жыл бұрынI have painted 3 simple leaves on a cotton fabric using Camel Fabrica acrylic paint.
Colors used
White
Sap green
Black
Brushes
No 1 flat brush
No 0 round brush
Thin paint with right amount of water to prevent spread on fabric and to keep it as soft as possible after painting
Iron on opposite side after 24 hours and wash after one week to fix colors.
Hand painted fabric care -
Dry clean and iron on opposite side.
Always try to hang hand painted fabrics on a cloth hanger

Sister after doing fabric paint the surface of fabric which painted gets hard....what we should do so the fabric remains in its actual softness

Thanku. Diluting with water depends on material used.There is no fixed ratio.

Have you mixed water in the paint? To dilute it? The cotton fabric soaks the color very fast, what does one do?

Lovely...can we do this same painting technique on a dark colored fabric , cause when I paint on dark coloured fabrics the paint fades in and in the process I end up doing too many layers to brighten it. Any tips or suggestions to paint on dark coloured fabrics.

Preeti ji, I have a query. Sometimes we take many days to complete a painting. In that case we can't iron it after 24 hours. Is it okay to complete and then iron?
