Fabric Shopping in Paris

The first of 4 videos from my trip to Paris this February (2019)
I've decided to break down my Paris videos, as there was a lot to cover and I didn't want the videos to be too lengthy.
Today I'm chatting about my fabric shopping experience in Paris!
My trip wasn't a shopping trip, so I only had limited time to visit fabric shops while I was there...but I don't think I did too badly.
If you are planning a trip to Paris and would like to squeeze in some fabric shopping then hopefully you might get a few tips from this video.
Fabric haul will be coming next week!

Can't wait the sequel! I only visited Anna Ka Bazaar last year and I cannot belive that I didn't know about the coupon shops! I will definitely visit them next time :)

All I can say Suzie is wow, wow, wow.....how large were those shops 😍. Thank you so much for showing them to us and I now want to visit France in those areas so badly, especially the Atelier Brunette shop 💝 ... can't wait to see your fabric haul and your plans for them 😁👍🇫🇷😘

I have bought my first Atelier Brunette fabric, Stardust embroidered double gauze, which I haven't used yet, but it's deliciously soft and the gold dots are so pretty!

I purchased a lot of fabric in that area last April when I was in Paris. I had to purchase another piece of luggage too. Great video!

Looks like such an amazing trip! Can't wait to see your haul. Do you have recommendations of bargain shops in London? I'll be there this summer but only for a couple of days - I'd love to hit up 1 or 2 places where I can find some nice fabric at a decent price.

If you are looking for bargains then definitely head for Goldhawk Road - literally a road full of fabric shops! Ive found some great bargains there. I've also heard of Walthamstow market (complete other end of London btw), but have never been.

baboukis1 it was the Goldhawk Road. There is also a market in Walthamstow where you can get great bargains, but I haven’t been there myself (yet!) 😊

Hetellier if I spelt it very wrong I apologise . You could tell it was going to be an expensive shop by the color of the wood work out side . Black doors etc represents class and expensive

Hi Suzie, nice to hear you about these "grands magasins de tissus de Paris", but you're right , fabric in Paris is not so discount, but the next time don't forget to go in Bennytex in Paris, here you can have a very large choice with tiny price... anyway is always a pleasure to watch your sewing video, thanks !!! bizzous, Sylvie

Ooo wow, I have never heard of there before!!! Thank you. I sincerely hope I DO return to Paris again soon and it will definitely be on the itinerary!
