Found this beauty at Baxter Cycle today. First time for me on a Moto Guzzi...I'm in love. This bike is a very interesting mix of very good & very old tech. Wahoo!

That is the first V7 that I have heard with aftermarket pipes. Impressive!

Beautiful, and I bet the valves are easy to adjust with the cylinders sticking right out there.

I really like the looks of these Moto Guzzi's. There's a Royal Enfield dealer in Columbus Ohio that sells Moto Guzzi's too. They have an interesting KZfaq channel as well. They had me convinced that maybe I should go have a look see at one. They even have a yellow V7 Stone I think they called it. I'm a sucker for yellow motorcycles as that's the color of my Meteor 350. I did actually get a chance to sit on a low mileage used V7. Although I liked the overall look, I found my seat was much more comfortable on my Meteor. And, I was way more comfortable with the overall weight of my bike. It felt quite a bit heavier to me. Great video though. I hope you get more interesting bikes like this to ride

Am planning a trip to Columbus this year. I'll try to visit the Moto Guzzi Dealer when there. Wahoo!

I've always had a soft spot for Guzzi's. I had a 1000 Le Mans and a California back in the '90s. They've got loads of character and the V7s are very popular in the UK.

Between this and the Interceptor, which one do you think is better as a first bike?
@forgottenmotorcycles
@forgottenmotorcycles 5 ай бұрын
Interceptor...love both but INT is better all around bike. V7 better single purpose bike. I'll do a video on this later.

Which ones cheaper to operate a moto Guzie or a Royal enfield?
@forgottenmotorcycles

Not sure but I bet they're pretty close to the same.

I think the Enfields might get better MPG and they are less expensive but not by much.

Check the review from Rabid Hedgehog who has owned a Guzzi for a couple years . He really loves the bike , is his daily driver , but . He had a minor problem and the bike sat in the shop for two months and they finally had to cannibalize a bike because Moto Guzzi does not have a distribution center in the US for parts .
@pinkiewerewolf

That happened to my Ultra Classic at the end of the scamdemic. Mine sat for 11 months at two dealerships. It was only the stator.

Pronounced Moto guts e Motoguzzi.I'm really interested in the V7 bikes especially new 850 looks great & low maintenance being shaft drive & heads sticking out the side. Only 2valves per cylinder & valve adjustment is easy no tank off or raised heads outside.The V7 750 has low down torque delivery & with big bore headers they really fly & 206kg with 21 Liters of gas ⛽ make a great tourer.850 heavier but is updated & more HP & torque. Stock 2014-16 V7 750 is 48hp 61Nm & 2017-2020 are 53hp 61Nm but with big bore headers power & torque increase.2021 V7 850 is 65hp & 73Nm & you can upgrade mufflers to Arrow when buying new which bumps it upto 66hp & 75Nm.The torque figure isn't high but the way they deliver that torque is fantastic.The 850 is thirsty too 4.9L per 100km but has 21L tank & competitor Triumph 900 it a about 4.5L per 100km & is 64hp & 80Nm & love to ride back to back with V7 850.

Has this bike got big bore headers?that'll bump up torque by 7-10Nm & HP 4-6hp.Looks like it has Agostino slip on's. I have a Dealership 200miles away & would like to go there to test ride before deciding between a Triumph & V7 850. Also the Triumph 900 revs out to 7500rpm but get 100% of torque at 3800rpm & has good low down pull. The V7 850 has 73Nm at 5000rpm & get 80% at 3000rpm & revs out to 6800rpm so reaches redline lower in rev range so is really quick from mid range.

Performance and ride are much better on the Triumph 900 vs my V7. However, the V7 has a very unique feel & fun factor to it. I love both bike a lot. Wahoo!

Tired of all these pov podcasts. These are not videos. They all look the same. Nothing to see. No bike, no rider, only the speedometer and the road.
