I'd personally get a trade pal. You can still do P company if you choose another cap badge and you'll then serve with that cap badges Para Regiment but you get a trade and all all the quals that go with it. If you can get a trade and some good quals from the public purse then why not!

you know there is P-Company so you can attach to the paras. army commando means you completed the tests the royal marines do before they pass out. it means you are in the army but can attach to royal marines

BMI between 18-28. Can be up to 32 but only if your waist is under 94cm and you are over 18. (If under 18 it must be under 28) I passed assessment centre in July 2019 and had a BMI of 31.3 (I think?) and a waist of dead on 94cm and was declared medically fit to proceed as long as I passed the fitness tests (which is did :D) They advised to get my bmi down to 28 for phase 1 which I start on 2nd feb at winchester. Currently got it down to 29.5 and my waist is now 92cm (EDIT -89cm) and fitness is significantly better than at AC last year. Still bricking it for next medical though.
