Face detection and blurring with Python and OpenCV | Computer vision tutorial

We are going to use OpenCV blur function to anonymize faces and Mediapipe face detector to detect them. 😃😃

Hey i'm trying to implement this by blurring faces visible on my windows desktop view because i want to stream photoshop tutorials but i want to use people pictures without pissing them off. is it possible?

It is possible to put the last part (which is chose between 3 option) in 1 function of 2 argument (args.mode, args.filePath) ? if it could be, what is the return arguments?

We could, although mediapipe face detector is very robust, I would recommend you to use mediapipe 💪

Output video is of 1 sec only and I'm getting some errors in console Assertion failed

Does it work well with individual images?

@@ComputerVisionEngineer same error and yeah its working good with individual images but with video it's giving only 4 sec video while the original video was of 12 sec

@@manifestingourdreams312 it is probably due to the output video frame rate, it is currently hardcoded in 25, try setting the same one as the input video.
