Over the last 12 months we have had a ridiculous number of patients lose hearing aids. The reason why hearing aids are falling out? Ears are not designed to take care of glasses, face masks AND hearing aids.
That was until we starting giving all of our patients 'Mask Extenders' to save hearing aids. However, in hearing aid forums I still regularly see people asking what they can do to stop their hearing aid from falling out.
Follow my guide on the best way to prevent your hearing aid falling out and how to wearing aface mask with glasses and hearing aids:
00:00 Intro - Wear a Mask with a Hearing aid Mask Extender
01:00 The mask extender will prevent your hearing aid from falling out
01:19 How to attach the mask extender
01:48 How to customise your mask extender
02:08 Where you can get the mask extenders
Hopefully this will help you to stop your hearing aid from falling out and a few lost hearing aids.
The ones I give to all of my behind the ear hearing aid patients are available here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-PACK-FAC...
I have no affiliation with the seller of these mask extenders, they just work really well. There are plenty more out there if you type 'Hearing Aid Mask Extender' or 'Hearing aid Mask Clip' into Google, eBay or amazon.
Wearing hearing aids with a mask couldn't be easier
