Hello,, incredible work. I have a couple of questions and a petition if possible. It seems like the laser makes straight cuts, did you made manually some angle cuts in order to assemble it? or how did you join parts where needed to be in some angle? I want to ask you if possible (of course)for some request, let me explain, I have been working with After effects for more than 4 years as an amateur, but never worked with 3D softwares as Element 3d, Cinema4d, Maya etc. (just C4D for basic text), I have also being making some video mapping tests over volumetric MDF or PVC letters (not designed by me). I just downloades Blender and try to follow some tutorials, beacase I would like to make also a lowpoly face as yours,I have already found a local business that make laser foamboard cuts, so, I was wonder if you can share your polyface maya proyect? (if you still keep it) or if you can recomend me some tutorial to do do it. Thanks and greetings from México.

I'm sorry I checked late. Unfortunately, I don't have the modeling file that I worked on at that time. I hope you solved the problem well.

Hi Seungjin, I am doing a project like this on a much smaller scale for school. Would you mind telling me what software you used? (for the graphics and the mapping)

Hi vina. I used Maya2014(for 3D objects), After effects CC 2017(for visual effects) and Resolume arena 5 (for mapping) in this project. I hope the answer was helpful.

Thank you daimo for your interest. The sculpture was made of foam board. You can see the process at start of this video. Using 'Slicer for fusion 360' made Cut Layout of 3D model file, And cut at laser cutting machine. If you have any more question, send me E-mail.
