The latest on...NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg tells "Face the Nation" that although far-right Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently visited Moscow, "that doesn't change the common decisions" the alliance has made regarding Ukraine, After President Biden's disastrous debate performance last week, Democratic strategist and CBS News contributor Ashley Etienne tells "Face the Nation" that the party needs to "take a deep breath", and CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes tells "Face the Nation" that the upcoming week - when Capitol Hill lawmakers return after the July 4th holiday - will be critical for President Biden's reelection.

Excellent response by the quest. Whether the President is capable to be President for the next four years is irrelevant and a matter of an Internal US concern. The quest “Ashley” trying to convince us that Biden is in good shape after the debate with polls being tied at best and 9 points behind at worst, 36% approval rating, 80% voters feel that Biden is too old to be reelected, when running against a convicted felon, libeled sex offender, insurrectionist, who has been give presidential immunity by the SCOTUS. Seeing more of President Biden is just fine so long as the press that covers the events is fair and reasonable because honestly through this moment coverage has been a breathless excitement by the press, watching every move and utterance for any pause or anything that can be construed as a misstatement.

This interviewer has poor verbal skills. His deportment, the way he asks questions and the way he conducts himself, he sounds as if he lacks a lot of training - as if he's still in high school or just starting out. Margaret Brennan sounds and conducts herself as a professional. When you think of Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Eric Sevareid, Ed Murrow and others, you wonder how CBS has let this man conduct these interviews.

Same here, as comment yesterday, that attempting to pressure NATO Secretary General on Biden's fitness as a leader, was exceedingly poor and inappropriate journalism, Stoltenberg's response reflected his much greater maturity and rational stance, and quite properly saying that he could comment on such an issue.

These cognitive tests aren't designed for Presidents. Also the President's right about it being unnecessary because the President is daily tested by real life situations as he goes along.
