Esther thank you very much and God blesses you and your family. You're indeed a strong woman just like your father General Odartey Wellington. Your are 100% right .what has changed after they sacrificed the generals. Ghana is worse of than that time .corruption is still the same.

Great interview. I must say, though, that her views on the country at the time are likely from the bubble she lived in. She can't even appreciate the situation the masses were in. Even if it's what the country has degenerated into again today, it doesn't make it right. Excellent interview though

It's rather unfortunate but her dad was Killed in The Line of Duty. ....unlike the others who were arrested and tried b4 a Kangaroo Court and Swiftly executed executed. ..no chance to appeal...they didn't even have a Catapult to fire back at their captors😥...June 4th was Kill or be Killed...

Berba, do you know how much Rawlings is worth now? Can you proudly say he and his cohorts didn’t do worse than those officers and others he helped killed. Many will continue to be fooled since we haven’t learned sense now.

Esther, your dad was a brave soldier who lived the discipline life of a real soldier. Those who killed him love riches more than what they claimed to stand for. They will surely reap what they sowed. An incurable disease will plague them one by one

42 minutes: Rawlings was given a trial over the 15th may failed coup like you rightly said but don't forget also that there was advised from Nigeria leader to stop the trial and get rid of Rawlings and his friends which got leaked and ignited his friends to take action on the June 4th to rescue him.

I loved Rawlings as a kid. I’m a grown man now. To be just to my intellect, I have to have a tangible reason for loving him knowing very well that he played a major role in the dark history of Ghana. I have already confirmed that Boakye Gyan was a devil and still laughs and acts like one. It’s time we all start learning the history of our dear nation from our elder ones not from any book written by their family members.
