I got a question: What if you pitched the new short to Laika Entertainment? Laika LOVES This kind of stuff and with the right team and director could skyrocket Faceless Niel into being a new Laika property and as such get the attention, recognition, development and otherwise that it deserves. Basically, if Laika held on to it it would get what it needs to go from good to absolutely spectacular and a timeless tale around the concept of death, and it would break ground for being the first children's movie to straight up talk to kids about the concept of dying.
