The JetPeel facial is a noninvasive skin treatment for transdermal infusion. At New York City's Glo Spa, the three-step facial treatment includes lymphatic drainage, exfoliation, and serum infusion. Glo Spa says the treatment uses high-pressure air to blast off dead skin cells, blackheads, and dirt from pores, while also pushing serums deep into the skin. Hoping for a deep exfoliation that won't irritate her sensitive skin, Insider's Kyle Kerchaert tried the JetPeel facial for herself.

@@caseychan-smutko5114 you are correct about the part where you stated no one has perfect skin, and no 2 individuals have the same exact skin type! I am a Florida medical aesthetician with 15 years hands on experience and practicing today, and the jet peel treatment is so effective, it would not leave any impurities, dirt & or make up after the treatment, most diligent aestheticians always double cleanse prior to an advanced treatment and or any treatment, it’s a fabulous treatment if you ever have an opportunity to try it out, I highly recommend! They are. Especially "products". I'm an esthetician in school, all of this talk about lymph drainage and literally everything that comes out of an esthetician's mouth is pseudoscience. These girls make their money off of women who feel insecure and don't know anything about real science and biology by making their mumbo jumbo sound legit and too complicated to understand. Estheticians can never EVER help your skin. It is purely hopes and illusions, not results. If you ever want true results, please see a MEDICAL esthetician who uses laser treatments and needles. A massage and cream isn't going to get rid of your acne.

맥스 when my acne was at its peak, I went to my derm for chemical peels and microneedling which helped so much. But for monthly maintenance and gentler treatments I like to go to aestheticians for dermaplaning, microdermabrasion etc. The effects are less compared to the derm procedures but since they’re less intensive on my skin, I can do them more often.

159 dollars just for exfoliation lmfao, stridex and cheap glycolic like the Ordinary can literally do this as well, I have no blackheads anymore, my skin is glowing, I still have breakouts here and there but that's literally the same thing she experienced. Hyaluronic Acid plumps your skin, so of course, her skin would look plumper after the treatment. Just do a skincare routine with products you trust, you never tried the products these facial treatments uses, so if you're sensitive or acne-prone, you're gonna have a bad time if it breaks you out instead

Tbh, the side of the face where the lymphatic drainage was done looks a bit older than the other side. Also, it seems that the power washing is just another fancy way of applying ingredients which were already established as good for the skin. Since the chemicals used in the process is the same as others, the comparison would be more convincing if they compared half of the face where the acids and serums were applied the usual way vs the side where the power washing was done.

@@no_name475 You're pathetic. The first reaction was just a question. And you reacted like 'you better say nothing if you don't know what you're talking about'. And on top of that you ask that person to subscribe to your channel... Like...really???? Geeeezzz, that's cheap!

I wouldn't be surprised if the pressure is variable. I would hope they account for the thinness and elasticity of people skin. I think it also matters whether or not there are tears that are able to allow that air in. I used to do some machining in high school and we'd use a high pressure air hose to clean bits of metal and wood away from the drill bit. We were warned not to aim it at ourselves because it could damage our face and cause cuts to fill with air. I don't know what was serious and what was just the instructors messing with us, but this is probably something that people have addressed somewhere on the web.

As much as I love facials for how relaxing they are and how they make your skin feel good afterwards, I’m getting pretty sick of hearing ‘anti-aging benefits for people in their 20’s and 30’s!!’ The only people that age who need to worry about how old they look are chainsmokers
@gerardoarenasss
@gerardoarenasss 2 жыл бұрын
Not really, as soon as you stop "growing" around 25, you should start thinking about antiageing products, if you want to maintain a youth looking appearance, depending on one's skin type the ingredients will be different, but if one's into skincare, one is most definitely into antiageing ingredients, there's no point in using this ingredients after the ageing process has started, they won't do anything, they are meant to be preventive not corrective

@@gerardoarenasss I completely agree, in your 25 ish things start to happen. I am a 33 yr old licensed esthetician for 10 years and YES take it from me start anti aging products, lifting with micro current or guasha/cupping around 25

@@GabsterZ21 I just realized my comment had a typo, yup, when you stop growing it's all downhill and you should start the anti ageing process of your skin care, there's no point in using Botox when one's face looks like a map of the world's rivers

But won't this cause like a wind burn or something? And this girl had almost perfect skin, it'd probably be more effective, and satisfying to see the difference, on someone with really clogged skin.
