This is extremely saddening.... it's devastating to think that we have let these amazing creatures down. I'm very disappointed in the human race. We have to save what's left.

I was at Ol Pejeta in 2013 with family and had the opportunity to lay my hands on Sudan which is one of the great moments of my life. I thank the staff and keepers at Ol Pejeta for keeping this old boy safe into his old age and allowing the world to see the last of his kind. We all have an opportunity to keep this travesty against nature from occurring again ....and again...and again. Your small efforts and contributions can make a difference.

The White Rino may me gone, but there are still five more other Rhino speices which desperately need our help.

I cried when Sudan passed away. It was as if a little part of me went away too. Rest in forever peace, my big friend.

I just watched a documentary on Sudan & how he was held in captivity for over 35 years in conditions that were not natural for him. It makes me cry that he was not allowed to live & walk on grassy land but forced to stand on concrete in Czech. So unfair. Thank God there is this awesome place in Kenya & with such caring people, especially Zachary

The head keeper seemed so nice! It's so sad to see this happening to such a beautiful creature. I'm only 15 but I want to help conserve our wildlife... does anyone know ways to help at a young age?

I understand how sadden they were on this journey. It truly is devastating how humanity allowed this to happen. I had the privilege of seeing Nola at the San Diego Safari. We were all sadden when she died. I am glad that the last three are there in Kenya.

I have never seen a rhino and I feel like I will never be able to due to high demand for their horns. and if we dont save them now, then we will only have these videos and photos to show future generations to come. Imagine not having these majestic species around and being wiped out forever.. :'(

He isn't the last rather he was the last as he passed away so on to the next species to destroy as China has high demands for Tigers, Elephants, just to name a few!! Sadly we have the ability to send a man to the moon but we some how can not protect our endangered species? Now that this rhino passed away we have a few different species of rhino left and the really sad part is only the one's in captivity are safe to close their eyes at night to rest. I watched a program they use dog's to sniff out poachers trap's dog's sense of smell is phenomenal and the dog is able to lead it's trainer to ever single trap. I believe they should invest more into that project! God blessed us with Dog not only as a companion but with the ability to help a human with disabilities to help sniff out bombs that's just a few things dog's can do, yet we humans let them down also by letting the ass holes that abuse them kill and eat them get away with it! Alone there is nothing nobody can do but together we become a formidable force!!! Like the lionesses hunt together to bring down their meal. It's time to come together instead of arguing who knows more and be a VOICE to the helpless specie's that can not fight the battle with MAN!!

Science and technology has come a long way. If the northern white rhino goes extinct, then scientists should work together to bring it back to life. They have done it in the past! I don't remember what year but they brought back 1 deer that went extinct about 2 years prior. The baby died like 10 minutes later but it is better than nothing.
