Jon hopkins inspired me to start music production. He also inspired me to quit music production. After 3 years i realized that i will never be this good, even if i do nothing else until i die. So now i just listen and enjoy.

I`ve been making music for over 20 years and totally get what you mean. the reason i still do it is, that i learnt to enjoy it even if i will never be as good or famous or whatever. Man, if he inspired you, then go on an try to have fun. Also, even if you put out very simple songs, there will be people who are exacly looking for that. there is a crowd for everything, even if it is 20 people. keep your head up.

Vounteering in rural Portugal, no friends, no conversation, dark roads, stars, hours with this as company. I felt so lonely, and I still do, but music is the greatest compensation of all, eh? Moments like 12:25 will forever be locked into memory. An then bought into being in a field with JH live festival set, Cor! X
