There is a Spanish book about a paranormal detective called Parabellum who has special bullets for every kind of monster she hunts (silver for vampires, blessed for demons, etc) and then she has tutti frutti bullets which is just everything combined for specially tough monsters or when she doesn't really know what is she firing at.

YES!!!! I fucking love squirrel girl because she's just so stupid in concept but done so well. A girl who is as much like a squirrel as spider-man is like a spider except she's born this way as opposed to made like this. She then uses her squirrel powers to kick everyones ass with ease, even better then the more powerful heros some how. Taking down the likes of None gauntlet Thanos, doctor doom, M.O.D.O.K., Fin Fang Foom, Juggernaut, Deadpool, Wolverine, and many more. Not only convinced Galactus to not eat earth, but helped him find another planet that fit what he needed without animals or similar and befriended him. She's good buds with the devourer of worlds, survivor of the last universe. She's palled around with the likes of Tony stark, Wolverine, Spiderman, The X-Men, the Great Lakes Avengers, And more. Her theme song (Which she made) Is a parody of the 1960 (I think thats's the year) spiderman. Plus, like spider man, she has to balance hero work and none hero work (Civilian life), has a great sense of humor, amazing friend (If a bit flakey due to being a super hero),great pet owner (Almost forgot she can talk to squirrels as well), and just a great person

Speaking of Blade's taste in music; The mutan Gambit from the X-Men mentioned in one comic that he and Blade trades jazz-records with each other. (Although it wasn't stated, Gambit being a thief from Lousiana and Blade killing vampires (who sometimes lives for over hundreds of years) it's not that much of a long-shot that the two of them manages to get hold on rare Jazz recordings from time to time.)

7:55 A somewhat similar take I’ve heard/read about is that the sun doesn’t directly harm vampires, but it takes away their powers, including their immunity to aging. So a newly turned vampire temporarily becomes a normal human but an ancient vampire rots away.

I was a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief in the US Army. When on deployment we would refer to crews on day shift as Daywalkers. This was a bit of a term of respect as 160th SOAR Nightstalkers (see the book and film Blackhawk Down for context) would not take day missions after the Battle of Mogadishu. Taking day missions required the courage (or lack of regard for personal well being) to take on missions that even the baddest of the badass Army aviators won't take. To be perfectly honest these were usually the missions that were not of a high enough priority for 160th to accept. Still, Daywalker was a hell of a moniker to take in response to 160th's "Nightstalkers".

On the subject of other takes on vampires (re: Saga of Darren Shan, I Am Legend): I like the approach that the movie Daybreakers uses, since one of the main characters (played by Willem Dafoe) is a former vampire having been cured by falling into a river after being exposed to the sun; presumably it's the exposure to it that cures it, but the person also burns alive in the process.

@@LucyWest370Snipes Blade may not be part of the MCU but he did help Marvel survive the 90s, without him than likely we won't have seen not only the MCU but also the Sam Rami Spiderman. In short Iron Man may have united and saved the Marvel heroes in the MCU and turned it to the Empire it is today but Blade helped save Marvel itself. Or even Shorter Iron man may have buit the MCU but Blade layed its foundations.

The reason his bullets are overkill is because in that universe, depending on a vampires particular heritage, it may not be allergic to garlic, but is allergic to silver. So he is covering all the bases as not to be fooled.

Alucard has theoretical weaknesses, but the vampires from twilight dont...plus, even in-universe Alucard is a unique existence, itd be more fair to compare the vampires from twilight with the other vampires in Hellsing Ultimate.

The whole setting, mood and design of the Blade film was "credited" to Tim Bradstreet, the artist who worked on the Vampire: The Masquerade (VtM) games (developed and published by White Wolf Publishing at the time). I say "credited", for Bradstreet found out after Blade aired that the team who worked on the film had collections of his art for the VtM but didn't bother crediting him. That changed in the sequel where Guillermo del Toro had Bradstreet work with him. (Source: World of Darkness documentary on Amazon Prime).
