Well to be fair it's not just the parts being good on their own, on any build and in any PS. Some of the parts are way more impactful on low PS builds where PS of parts really matters. The difference between 2500 and 3000 is huge compared to something like 8000 and 8500. For example the Digger Side is absolutely best part as it's 1:2 ratio of PS:HP. For every PS you get 2 HP. Bumpers are the exact same, if you place them on front or front sides, they will get shot and that's what you want. Plows are too high PS to be used for this, but almost all the other bumpers can be massed in front and they will save you from a lot of damage. They are compact, high HP, relatively low weight for their upsides. Offroad bumper is probably the best thing you can get as beginner. At some point you get 2nd one and then you can use both at the front. They are reliable, if you place them lower to hide your fuel barrels below. This part can take a lot of beating. Just spam bumpers on front, you will get shot there every game and the bumpers offer just most HP for their cost.

The rear door and canvas are really good only once PS doesn't make much difference, but early on it does and those parts don't offer enough HP for their cost of PS. The less PS you have the less DPS output you encounter, the longer your HP lasts. I prefer to just make glass cannons because too much armor is going to send you from fighting 4 Chords to 2 Summators etc. and if you have just Chords or few rare weapons you just can't compete with those builds. This also applies across all rarities. You don't want to use specials when everyone starts using epics. If you keep the PS low, those stronger weapons are unfavored only due to their high PS cost so in low PS they literally can't put on any armor if you want to fight you with them, so you don't encounter them.

Plastic raids are most worth the time spent. Fun depends on what you can afford... Sinus is overall best newbie weapon to use, but gets old pretty quick. You can accurately strip weapons and DPS isn't bad if you are accurate. Once everyone uses builds at 8000 PS you start facing too strong AI and Sinus won't cut it. I'm currently struggling to find any weapon that would turn the monotone gameplay of raids to something I enjoy, but the only tip I can give with certainty is don't use cannons, drones, autotargetting weapons or auto-cannons in raids. You want either raw highest DPS output or laser accuracy weapons for stripping guns with ease.

Yeah I've been sticking to other parts only using the strongest parts from the steppenwolves faction to make up for what other parts of similar size can't

(from my PC experience) for start, stay with Hunstman cabin, with 4x Chord, and when u have enough resources, get 1x Fuel Barrel (+5fuel) 1x Fuel Tank (+10fuel) which is useful for farming cause if u survive a win PvP battle than u have +15 fuel which (right now 100 fuel worth around 6 coin, so its means 0,9 coin for every win-survived battle + the actual scrap metal) BUT also do alternative blueprints, make expreiements, get cannon, shotgun, etc cause useful for daily quests but also it help which build-play style u want in the future (so dont use always the fuel farming build, but its can be useful, also, if u looking for "FRM" keyword in Exhibition, u can get some examples for farming however at start u wont have that much parts, but try to close it and experiementing) TEST DRIVE! always for every new build ! Raids : DONT USE fuel tank-barrel in your build in that case, it doesnt give fuel at the end , use easily manageble weapons (there is LOT OF lowhp npc enemies and just some of them slow and-or heavy boss), and fast or medium-fast builds/cabins, heavies-slows can be okey too but not every type of raids Also if you are out of fuel but u still need to go some raids for daily or weekly quests, u can refill, but if there is no quests for it, selling fuel often better Later when u have much more stuff and u know what "path" u can choose faction on depends your favor playstyle

they are vital to your build, especially in clanwars. A good understanding of parts & building techniques is the difference between losing half your build to a cannon shot vs not seeing cannons as a threat anymore
