I did this job 50 years ago where there were the same machines and I see that nothing has changed. one thing maybe yes then the machines that I saw in the movie were built by only one person in charge, he was a genius. The work was only casting and roughing the rest was done in another factory

You don't see this kind of all brass faucets very often anymore, most of them are now made of plated plastics, but work just as well, if not better

perhaps because it is 'only' polishing of metal surface, there are no solid particle ejected by the machine.
