The angel shark is one of the fishes of my childhood. And i never heard of them for over ten years. Now it pains me to know that the majority of them are now extinct.

This robo-video makes the biologically imprecise and vague statement that “angel sharks give birth to live pups.” That statement alone does not contain nearly enough information: sharks that give live birth can either develop fully-formed but miniature versions of adult sharks inside their bodies, and then give birth to them, making them **VIVIPAROUS;** OR, they can lay eggs inside their own bodies, and have them develop fully there, and then give birth to the hatchlings--this makes the species **OVOVIPAROUS;** angel sharks and all squatiniform sharks are ovoviparous.

They're called angelsharks bcz they look kinda like rays while they're actually sharks. Plus look where you step because: You might step on an angelshark/carpetshark/rockfish. Back to angelsharks. They might bite because: 1. They're offended by you stepping on them. After all, who likes being stepped on? 2. They think you are unusually large prey.
