in addition to the ingredients she mentioned, these are some other ingredients that can help with hyperpigmentation: licorice root, kojic acid, hydroquinone, some derivatives of vitamin c, ahas, etc.

Korean brands are always so innovative! It feels like they're always one step ahead of the trend. I'm super curious about that lithops ingredient, especially since my sensitive skin doesn't seem to fare well with vitamin c

Are there any studies on the new p calm ingredient? With skincare I usually think the longer it has been in the game the better so I am kinda sceptical about sth that is so new that there's probably not that much science behind it that has proved to work on actual skin (not just labs)

PIH and PIE is so annoying to get rid off. I am using TO Lactic acid, Faded topicals and Glow Recipe Guava vitamin C, and I also use Differin cream in my routine a few times a week.

I would recommend the man:yo pure cleansing oil. I tried it and that stuff WORKED. Like straight out of a dramatic ad. Melts away oil and your pores just get smaller the more you use it.

Another great video from Tina 😍 I love how you explain everything so well and in such a structured way! As someone with very sensitive skin, I can't use vitamin C regularly. So I used the light active line (toner and cream) with big love. I realized after 1 month the big acne spot near my mouth faded significantly. I was actually not expecting that lol. But it proved the efficacy of the light active line for me!!! I'll add the before after on my profile if anyone wants to check.

Sadly, so many vitamin C serums are flawed in their packaging: ie, in dropper bottles instead of pumps, which further exposes the product to oxygen; or they are not in opaque bottles, which exposes it to light. Any time I see a vitamin C serum in a non-opaque bottle I immediately skip it. Most seem to use high percentages of L-ascorbic acid and/or derivatives that irritate the skin; more is not always better. I have found one that worked amazing for my sensitive skin and doesn't feel heavy. It is formulated in Canada so I am unsure if they ship internationally or not. It is Glow Jar Beauty AM Vitamin C serum. If you're able to get your hands on it, I recommend it.

Try the Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium (blue) line. I use the Melano CC line in the morning plus the Hada Labo UV SPF 50 cream then Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium at night.

I’m interested in trying this. So far the best product I’ve ever found in 15 years for my sensitive skin that works better than anything else (I cannot tolerate vitamin c either) is something from a brand called Regimen Labs Level serum. It has 2% alpha arbutin, 3% tranexamic acid,5% niacimimide, and 2 or 3 other ingredients which are pigment inhibitors and names I cannot think of and in 3-4 months it got rid of almost 95% of my sun spots-and it has no vitamin c which I appreciate. I keep a backup and have a subscription to it because I’ll never be without it! I think I will try 1-2 of these p.calm items and see how well they work.
