@@fafcast can look at that both ways... maybe it is a burden for air player to help naval player, but also whole idea behind being an air player is to help naval player to win. In current meta we have naval reclaim, and even tho things in the water leave twice less mass they still leave tons of reclaim and when you win navy, navy player may be able to help air player to build a gameender using reclaim from the water

@@fafcast if you have a half decent grid you can pump a couple of torps out of every support fac at once you can fire out a sizable wave of torps pretty fast nb for the newbies- you need 5 (six to be safe/inefficient) torps per enemy cruiser, spread-attack your torp-wave on all the cruisers & you can mop up the rest after

Yeah that was pretty epic. ITML snipes used to happen a lot more 12-14 years ago, coz people didn't farm quite so hard-core. Rush the cybran T2 engie and a stealth gen aboard a transport, ferry over. It used to take 20+ minutes to clear out forrest, and while this level always scouted, certainly the majority of players aren't always famous for scouting around their own bases

I think NOC did ctrl-k to crash them and managed to destroy the Mavor at rock base with it.

looks like a suicide attack, falling planes do a fair amount of damage - people sometimes use their asf as missiles lategame (generally a desperation move ofc)

Thanks, i've now had a few people mention this, I'm trying to find the sweet spot - clearly its been set too high (the audio-ducking). I've since turned it down a ways more, if people like yourself continue to mention it in future, i'll have to turn it off entirely and just turn the game sounds down and leave em there. It really depends on the device used to listen to the cast, which is why some people it really bothers, and others (including myself) don't notice it at all - I heard it on my old laptop, so I know it IS actually a thing - Do let us know again, if any future casts (ie 22 March and onwards) are still like this. Thanks for helping to point it out

Thanks and welcome. I agree Gyle is in a league of his own, both in terms of dedication, and his charm and talent. Speaking into a microphone in an empty room is no doubt a skill, one Gyle mastered long ago. I'm still learning, and make no bones about it. It's why I appreciate people's feedback so much, good or otherwise, to help me improve, in turn giving anyone who watches a better experience. I've been a patron of Gyle for at least 2 years, and have watched almost every episode he ever did, including the very early ones, back when I still played a lot. Sadly, he never did cover one of my games, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to continue playing back then. Thanks for the feedback - This is the second time someone's said this. My setup as you describe, purposely does what you describe, but with a small percentage of viewers, it seems to "jar" - listening back, it seems to be worse during the rumbling of gunfire. I have softened the "auto-ducking" in todays cast (19th March 2023 - Epic Pro Setons) so the gating between me talking and not, is less pronounced with game volume changes. I can of course completely turn this feature off, but then to avoid shouting over the game audio, I'd need to turn it right down. I'm trying to find the best of both worlds, I guess I can't please everyone, but I'd really appreciate your feedback on my latest video to let me know if it's any better - sounds same, etc. Thanks
