I crashed my E91 320d BMW almost the same way. I spent a lot of money and time on it and it was honestly a beautiful car... Then one small oversteer happened, and all gone. It happened a couple months ago and i still think about it all the time and it feels horrible. That was my first car and i will always remember it, i was proud of it, and how important it was to me.

Bro you reminded me about how I destroyed my Infiniti. I was swinging my G35 and since I was not as skilled as I thought I was I hit a curb and just destroyed everything. Cracked the frame and the entire suspension on the right side fell on the ground. I could only drive it in reverse barely, so i drove it in reverse back to my shop ( no cars on the road remarkably) and put it on a lift. Car was totaled and I sold the entire car for $500.

He didn’t drift, he was driving and driving in the middle of the road cause there was no cars, rear of his car slid and lost balance and flipped in the ditch.

I just learned that 2 days ago, it was raining and I was coming home to bring food to family. And I went up a hill probably to fast and hydroplane in a ditch and my car flipped 2 or 3 times. I had to crawl out of the back window and luckily I only came out with a scratch. My parents just literally got me the car 5 months ago as a present. It was a 2015 Mustang GT and I loved that car. But I learned my lesson, don't play with slippery roads.

Watching this 4yrs ago I was surprised that you survived because you flipped on the roof and the roof was smashed in. Today I remember the video and it surprisingly would probably have been safer in that e36. If it was something different in that year of the vehicles make in a roll over crash, it most likely would have been worse. I've seen videos of car going into ditches and where pretty bad. I love the new content the GTT looks and sounds amazing. Good luck and be safe on the winter drifting stuff. 👍

Just know that a seatbelt won't be enough when shit goes south. I crashed my cooper S, a bmw mini and let me tell you. BMW makes some safe vehicles. My airbags were open sitting a bang and deflates right away but it still separated my head from the glass and other shit flying around. I lost control when leaving the highway and my car decided to spin at 100kph and hit the fucking tree. Probably a driver error... But don't know what.. possibly putting it in 2nd instead of 4th gear... whatever... have a new JCW cooper s now tho.

Had the same experience, well not all the same. I was driving down a sharp curve that closed down too fast, had bald tyres and just went flying over the curb into a pole at 50kmh, front airbag deployed and burned my right arm but thats basically it. We towed the car and its totaled now. Yet those two seconds of me just sliding and then me flying into a pole was just... i just couldn't believe it.

He didn't try to drift, he started to slide into the ditch and he corrected the steering wheel causing the car to go sideways. The wheel caught on the ground causing it to flip.

My Honda Accord 2005 was in a similar situation only a few weeks ago. It was my first car and I loved it so much. To anyone who does not drive, it's hard to understand how much love you can gain for a hunk of metal. I'm still depressed about it and I still dont have a car since it was completely totaled. My car skidded on ice, did a 180, hit a house and flipped. It was absolutely terrifying. The whole time before the accident I had a really bad feeling and even said in my head that I was going to crash today. Please, whenever you feel something may be unsafe or that you may be in trouble, pull over and wait or go back towards your previous destination.

That road is what we call a "landevei" in Norway and on a lot of them there isn't a posted speedlimit. When there isn't a posted speedlimit the speedlimit is automatically 80 km/h. On the other side he should have been more careful when driving in those roadconditions :-)

Adam Nivet actually the traction control was broken..previous owner disconnected it. I have been sliding before 😅 but here it was to slippery for me and i simply lost control. Was going to fast maybe..speed limit is 60km/t, but that was too fast on these conditions 😳

Guys what are you talking about.. e36 has 0 assists, its one of unsafiest cars in the world, let me explain it. The weight of the car is really low, its rear wheel drive, it has a pretty powerful engine, has no ABS, ESP, DSC or anything else that could help you to drive it. My car has some nice snow tires on it (tiger paw, cost like 350$) and is AWD and I won't go over 20mph when it's really bad outside and the roads aren't plowed well. You were going way too fast, and that definitely wasn't the sensible thing to do. I'm glad you weren't hurt too bad, or even killed. Next time, go slow and stay safe. It's better to be safe then sorry.
