Octopus was what was written on the paper and they bought an OCTOPUS when some crafty salesman scuffed them. Its not entirely their fault.

I don't understand why Lord Sugar keeps on asking the candidates to buy such obscure items without even letting them use google to figure out what they are, just some maps like the internet doesn't exist. It's a failure bound to happen.

It’s a bit stupid that using the internet is banned on this show. It’s like these tasks are being carried out in the 1950s. All it would have taken was a quick Google search. The whole point of this task should have been negotiating the best price not trying to guess what the stupid items were.

The rules for the task are they only have access to a paper business directory. The phones they use in the show have internet disabled.
